Will my old MB still work?

I must have 20 magic bands from previous trips and would like to bring an extra so DD, who has her own room can access mine and maybe use a snack credit from my ddp. Assuming the battery is not dead, will this work? Should I just bring a few in case of dead batteries?

The battery isn't used for any short range functions - AKA anything where you physically touch the MB to a sensor. You should be fine.

Yes. But the system does seem to often have issues with large numbers of Magic Bands. So you may want to set a few of the ones you aren't using as inactive/disabled in MDE, just to help minimize the odds of that happening.

or you can just try to use your MB you are going to give here to unlock your door and if it works you should be good or when you are checking in ask the CM to double check that this MB is working too.

Thank you. I just checked MDE and they are all listed as active. I will bring a few and have them checked at check-in
