Will Minnie Mouse be upset?

My dd is 3yrs old and is insisting on being Strawberry Shortcake for the MNSSHP. Will this hurt Minnie's feelings?

I don't think so. Minnie is very understanding and sweet about such things.

I think that's a cute costume. Much better than my dd who wants to be a . . . bat. I just don't get it -- her room is done in a total princess theme (her choice) and she wears her princess dresses all the time at home. Now I have to go searching for a bat costume. Sheesh! (Plus she has an adorable Minnie Mouse costume she wore for her ballet recital last month that she refuses to wear either.)

I don't know about that...not too long ago there was a little friction between Strawberry and Minnie when Strawberry started making googly eyes at Mickey. I do believe that Minnie had her banned from the parks.

Strawberry shortcake was my daughters favorite character when she was little. She was dressed up in first grade as her. That is so cute.

hey, a bat isn't so bad - try making a costume for a pre-schooler who wants to be a 'sparkly blue ghost' DD's preschool had a list of rules about costumes, so a blue sheet over her head (with eye-holes) wasn't allowed. I had to make it form-fitting, etc...

That could explain why strawberry shortcake is eaten for dessert at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Revenge, pure and simple!
