Ok - maybe someone can answer this question for me regarding ME. I am flying in to MCO on 1/23. We are renting a car for the day to visit relatives nearby and staying at a comfort inn that evening. I was going to drop off the rental car at the swan/dolphin on 1/24. The cost for that 24 hr rental with a pick up at MCO and drop off at swan is $62.:sad2: Now if I return the car to MCO, the rate drops to $18. Can I have ME pick me up on 1/24 and take me to BWI (my first nite on property) even tho I actually flew in the day before? I know this sounds complicated, but I could save quite a bit of money if this will work. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

BTW - we will have no checked luggage - only carry ons so the luggage isn't an issue.

From what I've read on other posts/threads.... yes, this can be done. I'd give ME a call and check but I think they can work it out with you.

It is fine. The DME cares not how you got to the airport. As long as you are going MCO-WDW on or after the day that your WDW resort reservation starts, you are fine. Most people suggest making up a flight for about the time you'd arrive at MCO, but the MCO-WDW trip isn't tied to a specific bus, so it doesn't really matter.

Making your DME reservation can go more smoothly when you pick out a flight number (any flight, any airline) first. Sometimes the CM on the phone finds it easier to think in terms of a single number (a flight number) instead of two numbers separated by a colon (a time).

You may or may not be asked for this information.
