I'd say we got about 9 inches, but it's light and fluffy and blowing all over the place. It was -1 with the windchill earlier.

It's so annoying. Thankfully I haven't had to deal with it because I've been working and my dear, dear DH is my personal chauffeur when it snows on the weekends.

PO3 - you need to send your DH up to MA with his plow because my company does a super crappy job with the plowing of my parking lot. If DH didn't drive me I'd still be shoveling my car out.

It's really win win all around here because DH gets positively giddy about snow removal. His snowblower is his most favorite toy in the world and you wouldn't believe what a remarkable job he does. It's bordering on OCD with the need for bare pavement. It really wasn't that bad today and he was out there for about 6-8 hours. He even vacuumed the melting snow up in the garage! His 2nd favorite toy is the giant squeegee he uses to push the water off the driveway and sidewalks. He's insane!! To look at our house compared to all the others on our street is so funny!

We've only got about 1" but I'm working from home as my mum won't drive in snow and ice (she's bad enough on clear roads). But our network is down so I can't connect. so here I am freezing at my own PC. Apparently its going to get to -20C (but not here). Kids didn't get snow day =- much to their disgust! - and as I got to the school door with Kicky I noticed he had no gloves - I told him to put them on then he got distracted by wellies and "forgot" (he hates wearing gloves). Bad mummy not to notice!

We are supposed to get 3" today. But that might have changed it was supposed to start around now, but its been delayed until afternoon. Of course, after the last storm, which was the 23rd, it never really got warm enough to melt. So the backyard still has 2" in most places. Our front yard, which is southern exposure melted, except the shovel piles. But our neighbors' yards on both sides are still all white.

We got 26" over the weekend and the kids did get an extended Christmas Break with a Monday snowday. And.............we are under a storm watch -- we expect another 6 inches Thursday!

So I went out and got more scrapbooking paper -- make lemonade from lemons.

We are due to get 4-7 inches...should be hitting us sometime rush hour tomorrow morning.... ergh! DH is working from home, some of the drivers from the west side don't know how to drive & it causes 3 hour drives to work that should take 40 minutes... too much stress... it'll also help because he can get to DD if I can't! She'll drive the AWD vehicle tomorrow... she likes it....but that is daddy's car any other time!

Yup, poor SW MI and the Chicagoland area have been hit non-stop!

We had another couple of inches and hard frost, but both schools open so far (to kids disgust!) But it snowed a bit more just now so they might close later....
