Will it be hot enough Oct. 19-25 to swim? I just can't decide between the following dates.

June 1-6 (no discounts)

Sept. 13-19 (possible 40% off or free dining, but HOT!)

October 19-25 (possible 40% off or free dining, but kids definately want to swim. Will it be hot enough?)


We've always gone the 2nd week of May & it's great as far as temps & crowd. I'm clueless on when to go other times of the year to get low crowds & decent temps.

Well, it will definately be warm enough to swim...but doubtful for free dining.

We went the last week in October a few years ago. It was in the nineties when we arrived on Saturday, dropped down to the forties at night by Tuesday (low sixties during the day), and was back in the eighties when we left the following Saturday. My advice, bring swimsuits and a jacket and pants!

I also should add that when we went in late October, I think in 2006, we did get a 40% off room code which was available to the general public. I think it came out in August.

Late October is a GREAT time weather wise. You can swim during the day, but aren't sweltering at the parks. If you look at temperature averages, May is generally 3 degrees warmer than October (high of 88 vs 85), but both have an average low of @ 65.

Late October early November is our favorite time to do WDW! Great weather for parks and swimming and ighter crowds. We have gotten great rates for every fall trip. Wither AP discount or 400% off code.

We were at WDW last Oct. 10th - 15th...and it was very hot. 90+ degrees during the day and 65 or higher at night. I was so shocked, the first morning we were there, I got up early to go down to have a smoke and get coffee, I thru on my lightweight jogging suit and was sweating before I reached the food court. I we stay at POFQ....so the walk takes only about 2-3 min I went swimming at 11pm one night and it was wonderful.

We were there for 2 weeks in October and it was hot the whole time! We would swim many nights to cool off!
