Jim has these things that are about 3" by 4". You bend them in helf, and they heat up. (Don't have a clue how they work except they an be used over and over.) If it will be getting cold, then I will ask Jim where he got them. They are called "EZ Heat"

I know they are in the desert, but thought it may get cold at night.

Bobby was told (before they left) that by May, the days will reach 100 degrees and by July - 130 degrees during the days, and dropping to about 70 degrees at night. Now, we all think that 70 degrees is wonderful, but they told them because of the 50 degree drop from day to night, they will suffer from hypothermia.

Hard to believe isn't it?

If those are the same things I have seen (and they are nice and toasty warm, a great idea) they need to beput in boiling water before they can be used again. Do they have that capability out there?

I know that when Bill was in Kuwait in 1995 in August it was over 120 degrees. I have pictures of him pointing to a thermometer that was topped out at 120, so it was hotter than that during the day. It will get hotter and hotter as time does go on. There are definately drops in temperature though at night.
