Hello,

i Have a split stay in November. Due to flight schedule changes, I am cancelling the first stay and arriving 3days later. Will I lose the FPS that I booked for both stays or just the ones for the dates being cancelled? Am I able to rebook for the dates still at WDW right away or do I have to wait now until 30 days before?

Thank you

You are fine with the FP you have booked for your current WDW stay. When someone cancels an onsite (or qualifying offsite) reservation, they will get a warning that they need to make a new qualifying reservation or their FP will be lost. Since you have a valid onsite stay for the days you'll be there, those days of FP will be safe.

You might want to go ahead and cancel the days you won't be using on your own, both to give someone looking now the chance to grab them, and also so an IT error doesn't erase the FP for the stay you're keeping. That's just my IT cynicism speaking - per Disney's policy, you're fine.

You never have to wait until 30 days to book FP for an onsite stay. Even if you make a reservation at, say, 45 days, you can make FP immediately because your reservation window opened at 60 days. You would only lose current FP and have to rebook at 30 days if you switched to a non-qualifying offsite location for your trip.
