Will I have fun on a cruise by myself?

I'm almost convinced to book my first ever cruise on the Dream in 2011. It is such a good deal I am having a hard time resisting. But my concern is that as of right now I would be going by myself. Would I have fun? And if I find someone to go with me, what are the chances there would still be room to add them later on?

I have never been on a cruise but it probably depends on your personality.

I would probably enjoy a cruise with out someone with me because i don't need other people with me on stuff like that to have fun.

But by 2011 you might find someone to go with you.

I probably should have added that really enjoyed my day by myself at WDW last month before my friends got there. I got to see the things I wanted to see at my own pace.

I went on my 1st cruise solo last back in May (even though I ended up rooming with someone from the boards that I never met til we got to the port). All I have to say is DO IT. I already booked a 2011 Dreams cruise in May. Can't wait. I normally travel to WDW solo too.

The only thing I don't like about solo cruise travel is the cost. But oh well .. It's just something you have to live with

Yes, I am sure you can add another person to your room later.

TO cruise "alone", yet "not alone", are you cruising on PCC 2.0 in December 2010? Now worry about having fun there!

I think you should go. I have fun with people, I have fun solo. There are plusses both ways. I think the podcast cruise would be a pretty easy solo. You will meet a lot of nice people.

heck i wish on most of my cruises i had MORE time alone, its WONDERFUL to be able to explore ANY part of the ship or Islands that you want without hearing complaints or "i dont want to go there right now" or " that looks boring" , just do what YOU want when YOU want it, that to me is a week well spent !! and LOTS of people cruise alone, you will have a GREAT time by yourself, probably one of the nicest most relaxing weeks of your life ! GO FOR IT !!
