Will HP change how we tour and use the parks and restaurants?

I read a lot of great threads how UO is a much more relaxing vacation and the restaurants are easy to get into and nothing really needs to be booked except the day of use. With HP opening the same time we are planning to visit does all that pre-hp advice go out the window now? Should we book the Luau now or wait? Will we have to do rope drop or can we sleep in a bit. I really don't want this to be another Disney trip I am so done with those. This is a non car onsite trip and I really want some relaxation thrown into this trip. Any guesstimates or advice?

If you're fine with the one-time use of Express per day for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey with your hotel room key, feel free to sleep in. Otherwise, you'll like have use the early access for hotel guests to avoid 2-3 hour waits over the Summer.

Good point:thumbsup2
