Will holiday lights still be up?

We arrive January 10. Will the holiday lights and decorations still be up in the parks and resorts?

Most likely not. And if some are sill up, they will not be lit at night. They are pretty quick to get things down after New Years. Who knows, maybe they will extend the Osborne lights considering how crowded it has been. But the 10th seems kind of late to do that.

I wouldn't count on it. I have been twice during the first full week of January in 2008 and 2009 and while the decorations were up when we got there, they were gone or almost gone by the time we left, both times prior to the 10th of January. You may be able to catch the tail end of some of the decor, but like OkilyDokily said, they are pretty quick to take things down.

Oh true the Castle Ice Lights are up for awhile but I think that is just due to the sheer process of getting those things down. Same reason why they go up in like September.

Yes, they will be up for the reason that they are difficult to remove, but they will still be in OPERATION specifically for the marathon weekend guests.

Thanks for the input! Sounds like if we are lucky we might be able to catch them our first day-the last day of marathon weekend.

Hope the Osborne lights might be extended Will be down on January 6th to the 13th. They're so beautiful! I would love to see them one last time.
