Will higher attendance now mean lower attendance later?

I was just thinking.. If attendance is up this year due to the 50th, does that make it more likely that attendance will be lower the following year? I know there are lots of us who like to go frequently, but most people don't visit very often, or have a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Do you think that the 50th celebration will draw enough of those people that they won't come back after the 50th celebration is over? If so, I might have to plan a wdw trip to take advantage of the lull. :>

I don't really know the answer, but it seems like there is always some sort of marketing ploy out there to get people to WDW. I can remember the 25th anniversary in 1996(?) and then there was the "Magical Gatherings" thing in 2003. So maybe since next year is their 35th anniversary (if the 25th was indeed in 1996), then maybe WDW will have another "party".

I guess my idea is that there will always be some other promotion and there will always be fans that want to see Mickey ::MickeyMo
