The reality is, California has the 6th largest economy in the world. It simply cannot remain "closed" too long without impacting the entire country in some way. It will reopen, with or without all the key points in the governor's plan being fully in place. It is not possible to sit around and wait for a vaccine or effective treatment. Testing, tracing and isolating infected people and high risk individuals is the way forward and I believe what they will be focused on.

Bunch of real geniuses we have here. I think they will open up early in Texas. Although, I don't think we ever had a statewide "order". It will be up to the localities and each individual to decide for themselves. If it don't feel right, I'm not going out. Luckily, I can work from home. If all of that really had to be in place in CA to open up, it could be 2022 before that happens, especially the vaccine part.
