Will Disney buy back a contract?

I have a 170 point contract at HH. I would like to sell the 170 points and buy 200 to 220 points on WDW property. If Disney is going to exercise a right of first refusal at anything under $62 per point, would they pay me $62 per point if I was going to buy another contract of greater value? "Does DVC take trade-ins?" If anyone can offer any advice or point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't think DVC wants points back from HH. With the existing on property options selling lot hotcakes, they have no motivation to offer a trade-in for slow selling HH. Maybe they would be interested if you owned 170 at BWV and wanted to trade for 220 at HH.

Disney won't even get involved in a resale until you have a bonafide offer for them to review. They are not interested in buying back contracts - from HH or BWV- unless the offered price is lower than they want to allow.

Good Luck!

NO, SORRY:( . However, you can certainly sell your present contract on the resale market but be aware that you're probably facing $1000-$1500 in commissions via the brokers often cited here. There are ways also of selling it yourself if you're industrious.......

I would say also that generally you should have excellent luck booking OKW at the 7 month window with your HH points, even at peak periods:) :) :) .......
