Will DFTW Place Items on Reception Tables?

Hi all,

Just a quick question:

We are having our reception at Atlantic Dance Hall and I know we have to use Disney for our Floral and centerpieces and such...but will they place additional items on our reception tables?

Things like, place card holders and names, tea light candles, picture frames with table numbers, favors, etc.? (Things we'd like to bring/provide ourselves.)
Also, do you know if they do this for a fee or not? :confused3

Any insights are greatly appreciated!!! :flower3: :hug:
 
They will place up to 2 items per place setting free of charge. After that it's $35/hour with a minimum of one hour—still pretty reasonable, cuz it's not gonna take more than an hour to set up favors and whatnot...
 
@ Carrie - I am waiting to hear back from my planner, but will they also use the $35/hr for centerpieces (or parts of centerpieces you want to combine with Disney's?) (I am at Ariel's)

I'm sure Carrie can give a more specific answer. However, I know at my reception at Living Seas we brought our own snowglobes. Disney told us to have someone designated to put them out for us during our cocktail hour (one of our guests) and when they arrived Disney Floral had already set them out at no additional charge. Of course, we had purchased candles, ivy, petals, and rented glass blocks for the snowglobes to sit on, so that might have impacted their decision to set them out for us.
 

I think you got lucky, Vanessa! Maybe you have something there with the purchase of extra items from Disney to augment them... :thumbsup2

Krysssyann, the official policy is that you will have to designate someone in your party to put out non-Disney centerpieces. However, since you are at Ariel's, this will be relatively easy for your designee to do. It would be pretty much impossible if your event were in-park for someone from your group to access the venue beforehand.
 
Disney are placing 4 items at each place setting for us. But 2 of them are purchased through floral. (roses and chocolate lollipops) so maybe that's why I've not noticed a charge on our BEO.
