Can anyone tell me if crowds usually drop the last week of August as they do in Disney? We've done Disney four times in August and have had no lines on majority of attractions.

This is our first time at Universal, going with the five day consecutive pass, and I'm just wondering about crowds/lines.
We are staying offsite so FOTL isn't an option for us.

Free express is still available to you.

And the lines are already starting to dwindle down. I heard Shrek didn't break a 60 minute wait a few days ago.

We were there Sunday and the stand-by SIGN for Shrek said 75 minutes, but we had been to the annual pass preview and based on what we saw in the queue, we got in line because we knew it wouldn't be that long. We were right, we were out of there in 60 minutes (meaning, we had waited AND experienced the attraction).

Men in Black had a pretty short wait as well...10 minutes posted, I believe. That's about all we did that required waiting in line

Most schools are back in session.
Broward goes back August 25th and they're one of the last to go back.
We're driving up to Disney to see Mission Space later this week. I expect light crowds.

Robvia,
EPCOT hasn't been too bad lately, even in the summer...but Disney, in general is still busy and will probably be pretty busy into the fall this year. (not summer busy, but busy compared to other years)

Went a few years ago in late August 2000. Crowds were not that bad, Spiderman 60 Minutes, Hulk was about 45 Minutes from what I can remember, However IOA was still pretty new then. Shrek will still be a good wait, It's new and with 15-20 minutes between shows and 300 + Capacity it doesn't take much to get waits of over an hour. Late August is the best time to go Just New Yorkers and Brits there then. Don't forget to read MIB Tips, Impress everyone with your ability.
