Deborah Messing (who I never thought was as funny as she seems to think she is) - several of her line readings came off mechanical. The rest of the gang were great, although the material was lame.
I don't think Debra Messing thinks she is funny L&Lfan. In fact, in interviews they all seemed to make fun of the fact that she doesn't carry a sense of humour in real life, like the other three. And it all was more work for her. She's humble about it all not "I think I am so funny".
I love Grace. My favourite character hands down and back around. In fact, I don't think that the show would have ever worked without her to bounce off of with all the over the top antics.
To this day I still laugh out loud about two episodes/scenes with her -
One was Grace flipping through a magazine, looking down - never looking up but taking in a conversation around her, and she suddenly goes ----
I used to think I was a lesbian. Then I realized it was WAY too much work. I just like to lie there.

And the other was a Thanksgiving Day episode that I have never been able to find where she is totally breaking down, needs to salt the tomatoes
and calls Leo and Will and President and Vice President of Things That Make Sense. The best. Laughing just thinking about her lines and timing. Mira Sorvino was guest starring as an ex of Leo's. If anyone knows what season that was, please let me know.____________________
This episode was just okay for me. I was uncomfortable with all the politics and I'm well... Canadian.

But it is the first show back. We are all probably watching too closely, too intimately because we enjoyed the past series.
And someone mentioned Debbie Reynolds. They were great together, Messing and her. It's a shame. Would have loved to have had her back on the show.

Last Ex to Brooklyn episode. Season six, episode two. And it wasn't even Thanksgiving. Laughing. My memory is fantastic!
