We are planning to go around the 3rd week of April (12-19) next year. I thought we would be going at a good time since Easter is March 23, I figured spring breaks would be over. But now I just read something that being early might cause spring breaks to be at different times, and some schools might do breaks throughout April. Will this be the case? Is this common as well with NE schools, as this is what I have heard as well? I would like to go some other time if it is going to be crazy.
IN Palm beach county, FL-schools are on spring break April 7th-11th. So- You should be fine......From our experience, we had to go during our spring break last year and it was truly awful.

This was our trip thst qualified to be the worst experience at Dsiney in 30 years!! This coming from a veteran Disney goer, with the attitude of"just make the best of it"! By 11:00 a.m., the fast passes were all gone for the entire day. At 10:00 a.m., the fast pass for Soarin was for quite late at night. We were able to sample some of Epcot's pleasures, but were unable to go on a single attraction. At Animal Kingdom, we waited 2 1/2 hours for Expedition Everest and went on our 2nd ride of the day, finally, at 6:00 PM. The Disney Customer service rep told us to imagine how people from Europe coming for their first, and maybe only, time must feel.
All that aside- be sure to take advantage of the early & late openings. Plan to get a couple of fast passes as soon as possible & save those rides to actually ride on later in the day. Meanwhile- wait on line for the other rides.
Our decision next time, faced with going during our spring break or not going, will to just not go. We live 3 hours from Orlando and will just find another time during the year!!
Happily, our July trip was tons of fun ,

even in our hot florida sun & occasional rain showers(ponchos are great!) We used our early & late hours and fast passes and had a fabulous 4th of July.
Have fun & enjoy your trip!
