Will adding a discount mess up ADRs?

I have seen a lot of posts lately about people changing/adding to their reservation and then losing the ADRs or FP+s they had booked.

I just reserved my package for Sept 2015. My 180 day mark will be in March, but discounts for my dates don't historically come out until May. Will adding a discount to my package mess up any ADRs that I will make?

Yes... I know that it is way too early to be worrying about this, but I am!!!

When I called in early May to have the fall room-only discount applied to my reservation, I didn't lose any ADRs that I had. I hadn't booked FP+ at that time though, so I can't speak to that.

Changing your room reservation will not affect your ADRs at all because they are on a different system.
