will a 5yr enjoy or "get" Kimpossible?

did you use the book in all of the parks? was it too bulky to carry around? my son loves to look for clues and stickers and random trivia, so it looks like a good buy.

how old was your son when you last used it?

He was 8 when he used it. He's now 10 and still looks at it a lot. He is my real Disney fanatic. I think he knows more about Disney and old rides than I do. He likes rides like Everest and Space Mnt but he LOVES all the classics like Carousel of Progress, Jungle Cruise and TTA.

I actually took the binding apart and someone in my office's copy center rebound the book into separate books for each park. Then when I came home I rebound it back together again.

My DS has noticed that there is an update. If we got the new edition I think I would just make him carry it.

I did also buy this book:

It is really cool but for some reason we still haven't tried it in the parks.

This year I bought DS this book for Christmas. I'm sure he'll love trying to find all the things in the parks and the book is nice and small!

My 9 year old boys enjoyed the Kim Possible missions, but my 5 year old girl was very bored. The character on the phone talks for quite awhile before giving you the clue. She would lose interest quickly and want to climb on something nearby instead. She had more fun when we bought the $10 passport at the gift shop when you come in and then got it stamped at the countries. They write the child's name in the language of the country. My kids thought it cool to have their name written in Chinese!

There are a lot of fun things for little kids. The miniature train set outside of Germany was a big hit for my 5 yr. old. They also liked all of the shows. The drum and bugle one at U.S., and the chair stacking one in front of France. They loved the shops at China and Mexico. There are cute puppets and hats to try on. The Mexico and Norway rides were fun for everyone.

I thought Kim Possible was fun, but 5 and under, depends on the patience level of your child.
