Will 2 EVCs fit at French Quarter?

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, my mom and I might both need EVCs for our upcoming trip. :worried: She fell and hurt her hip, and it looks like I might have torn my meniscus. I looked into moving the trip, but it would be disastrously expensive.

If worst comes to worst and we both need one (she's getting one regardless, and I find out next week how badly I've munched my knee) does anyone know if two would fit in a room at a moderate? Specifically French Quarter is the resort in question.

I called to ask, and the cast member was rather adamant that NO they would not. She did offer up the option to park one at bell services to charge, which we'll do if we need to. I still feel like if we move the table and chairs into the bathroom area under the hanging bar that we might be able to make them both fit. Wishful thinking on my part?

Hopefully this won't even be an issue, but just in case I want to know what I'm going to be dealing with.

We stayed there and I would say yes. We 2 room one a regular and one handicap. My daughters are both in manual wheelchairs and my dad had a scooter and there were several time where all 3 wheelchairs were in the regular room. You can put one in the closet and the other near the door.

Thank you for the reply. :goodvibes I hadn't considered sticking one in the closet area - that's an excellent idea! I'm hoping we'll only need the one, but still, nice to know the option exists!

I've heard of some asking the resort that the table be removed and it has worked with 2 scooters.

I think it does depend how big of a scooter you are getting to some degree. If it's the small, portable travel scooter model then you should be fine.

We are planning on getting the smaller portable models. Thank you. :goodvibes

Been planning this trip for a year; really want to make it work somehow!

I would also be sure to take a surge protector. That way you will have plenty of spots to charge them. I have stayed in FQ with one ECV-Victory 10- and another would have fit quite well.

They will fit if you ask them to remove the table and chairs or the bench.

I will make sure to do that!

Excellent suggestion. I will bring an extension cord and power strip for sure. It's good to know that you've had experience with one ECV at FQ and think that 2 would fit; makes me feel a lot better.

You've all been wonderful; thank you so much for all the responses!
