We're going back to WDW for our annual trip this May and this year, we're taking my little brother, his wife, their 2 year old son, my mom, and my ste-dad. Since they've all been, but not nearly as much as my family, I've been trying to hype them up for it. People who are not DIS'ers can't understand how we get so excited about a trip to WDW.

My brother, always trying to pick, forwarded me an article from Cracked.com about Disney secrets Disney doesn't want you to know about Disneyland. It got me thinking about the haunted rumors at POTC and HM. I was wondering what's the wildest rumor you've ever heard about WDW? It can be about a ride refurb, new ride in the works, mysterious disappearances, whatever.

This should be fun! I'm gonna kick back and can't wait to read all the cool stuff here.

It has been reported by the DL night crews, that some nights when the wind is still, Walt is seen slowly walking from his apartment over the firehouse, down Main street, around the hub into the castle and fades out. Hes seems to be checking out this and that, most likely making sure things are done right!:upsidedow

I cannot prove it, but I totally believe this one!

Have a great trip!

anything about the monorail being expanded to other parks or resorts... its never gonna happen folks - sorry!

That Disney is going to build a monorail over to WL.

That the Dolphin was supposed to have a monorail running through the front section of the facade.

Anything having to do with a monorail; seriously at about a million dollars a yard, you aren't going to see one anytime soon.

Last year while at SWW, I heard that year's SWW was going to be the last one for a while. :scared1:

The story was Disney felt that it had gotten "too" popular and the crowds out of control. The plan was to hold off a few years then start back up again to allow the popularity to die down.

That Beastly Kingdom will ever be made lol.

I heard rumors of the monorail supposedly having been planned to go thru the Dolphin hotel also. that rumor may have some validity to it though if I recall.

Actually, that one is true. The monorail was originally going to go through the Swan and Dolphin. Those random dark sections of both hotels?? Yea, that's where it was going to go through.

For my rumor: that RnRC starring Aerosmith was going to be rethemed to Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana. :scared1: This better be nothing more than a rumor!!

Walt Disney Parks division purchased (insert your local amusement park name here) Dollywood and is putting a Disney park in there.

That if you are in a wheelchair you get front of the line to everything. Not true at all. Often you wait longer.

Everybody knows Walt was cryogenically frozen and is stored in a tank somewhere under Disneyland ;)

Disney is being bought by a Saudi Arabian Consortium and all the princesses are going to have to wear Burka's....

You must have had the same bus driver as us who tried to convince us this was true.

DH and I were having none of that.

Ok, what's SWW? I looked at the abbreviations sticky, to no avail.

That is an awesome one about Walt's 'ghost'. I wonder if he is seen around Disney World checking things out as well! :thumbsup2
