Wilderness Villas Question

We are going to be taking our first trip to WDW as DVC members later this week and will be staying in a studio. How big is the refridgerator in a studio? Will it accomodate a gallon milk jug, or should we stick with half gallons?

Hmmm.... the studio fridges are pretty much dorm-sized (small!), so I'm thinking a half-gallon on its side would fit better. I can't remember if the bottom shelf is tall enough to fit a gallon. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

dorm size fridge....hmmm....We use to measure that by how many beers it would hold!

iF THE FRIDGES ARE SIMILAR TO THE ONES AT OKW, i KNOW A GALLON WILL EASILY FIT IN YOURS. WE HAVE USED A STUDIO
TWICE WITH NO PROBLEMS. ALSO WITH ADDITIONAL ROOM LEFT OVER EASILY.

Thanks for your help! My wife is pregnant and we are planning on stopping at a grocery store on the way from the airport. We wanted to get enough milk to last the week, but we didn't want to get there and find that it wouldn't fit!

Although a gallon will fit, (these are 5 cu. ft. fridges I believe), I would recomend two 1/2 gallon containers instead. Otherwise, you'll probably have to remove the lower self to allow for the gallon container to fit. Not, a biggie, but ceratinly two 1/2 gallons would be easie to work with. You, may want to hold off buying the milk at the grocery store, check in and check out the fridge for your self, then go to the merchantile off the lobby, and buy your milk there. I know its more expensive, but its only a little bit more $.

We fit a 12 pack (the bottles and box) of beer, and two - 1/2 Gallons of milk on the bottom shelf side by side during our studio stay. And there was still plenty of room on the door for extra bottles of water and juices for the kids.

The villa's fridge's are just right compared to the "Box fridge" that we were used to getting at the Poly for $10 a night.
