Wilderness Lodge

We are coming in on Sat. the 23rd and staying at Wilderness Lodge for the first time. Can someone tell me about the dining there.

Artist's Point is the WL's fine dining restaurant. It is located behind Whispering Canyon Cafe. We did not eat here, but I have read many good reports on it.

Whispering Canyon Cafe is WL's family restaurant. It is located in the lobby. Excellent food. They serve all you can eat skillet meals which are delicious. You can also order from the menu. The wait staff at this restaurant is very interactive - lots of fun!

Roaring Fork is the self service food area. It is located at the end of the long ramp on the north side of the lodge.They have cold and hot foods available all day long. There are plenty of tables to eat at, or you can take food back to your room. You can get a refillable mug for about $12 here and refill it all you want during your stay (soda, coffee, hot cocoa, cold and hot tea).
