What is and how is the transportation from the Villas at Wilderness Lodge? Is there any way to walk into MK? :3dglasses

There is bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom. We were there last month, and didn't have to wait very long for the boat. There will be bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom after the bus stop rennovation is complete. It would be difficult, if not impossible to walk to the Magic Kingdom. Very busy road, and quite a long trek.

There is a direct boat from WL to MK, there is also a bus. Transportation is very reliable at WDW.

You could take the boat from WL to the Contemporary and walk (5-10 minutes) from there to MK.

To the other parks you take the buses.

Just don't be in a big hurry, enjoy the time relaxing with your family and you'll have a wonderful time.

Have fun planning... it's half the fun! :wave2:

No way to walk to MK. You'd be on very busy roads with no sidewalks, and it would take you WAY longer than either the boat or the bus. It's a heck of a long way on foot.

I always take the boat to the MK from WL. It's such a pleasant trip. You'll see all sorts of beautiful birds (egrets, etc.) , there's a lovely breeze, it's a cool and relaxing ride.

My DW and I used the bus from WL on our last trip to WDW in early September. Because of the renovations at the MK bus stops, the bus went only to the TTC from where you have to take the monorail to MK. It was a long trip that night because the monorail had to stop several times for quite a while due to congestion. :( I hope the bus will return before our December trip.

We had taken the boat from the MK to WL earlier in the evening for another excellent meal at Artist Point. :)
