Wilderness Lodge to Hoop Dee Doo

Staying at wilderness lodge in October and have a Hoop Dee Doo reservation. I know the blue flag boats are not running between resorts and we will need to rely on bus transportation. My question is: where does the bus that takes you from the Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness drop you off? I’ve read a few locations. Is it the bus stop settlement depot near Hoop Dee Doo/Pioneer Hall or the Outpost bus stop where we would then need to rely on Fort Wilderness internal buses to get to Hoop Dee Doo? Thank you!

actually bus stops at both stops but the settlement stop is first stop. the bus is what is known as the yellow internal bus at the fort. the first stop is the one you want Pioneer Hall. you will be walking from the other side than the boat dock so PH will come first before Trails End and the dock

The walkway was closed when they began work on the (now defunct) Reflections Lodge, and it hasn't reopened. So bus from WL to The Settlement is the quickest way.

Yep! No problem at all.

I would assume yes. I would check with any yellow bus as it could be going the other way when you want to go back and it can be hard to tell which way the buses are going at that stop

The Magic Kingdom bus will go to The Settlement also. However only one way. You would need to ride the Yellow Route bus on your return which will say Wilderness Lodge on the marquee.

OP, did you pick HDDR over Whispering Canyon because of the whole dinner show part? I'm asking because I love Whispering Canyon and booked it for my Oct trip, but I also booked HDDR. Now I'm thinking they're sort of the same foods with the skillets at WC and I'm should just pick 1. We have a ton of BBQ where we are from and even though I enjoy WC I don't know if I need it twice on vacation.

Can anyone else comment if they are pretty much the same meal, as in similar tasting cornbread and bbq?
