Wilderness Lodge Renovations?

On another thread, I saw that the WL will be renovated next year. I guess one thing is that bunkbeds will not be in standard view rooms anymore. Has anyone heard anything about what these renovations will be? A new room style? We're planning on staying at the Villas in May, but are also thinking about adding a couple nights at the Lodge.

Hi, I was told about the renovations this past June, by one of the managers at Wilderness Lodge. The following is what I posted when I returned.

Starting in January 2006 the Lodge will start undergoing a complete renovation of all soft ware items. They will start on the 7th floor with new bedding, carpeting, and wallpaper. The Club Level rooms will have upgraded items similar to the style of the Lodge now but a little nicer then the other Lodge rooms.

Wasn’t sure if the new items will be a totally new design, as they want to keep the look and feel of the Lodge. We will have to wait and see.

The next year will be a busy one at the Lodge can’t wait until my next visit, be sure that all of you keep us posted on your upcoming visits.
