Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

You are going to have a wonderful time! We took our kids that week for the first time to WDW when they were 9 and 5 to the Wilderness Lodge. The crowds were low and the Lodge was incredible, like a big lincoln log lodge. For years they would try to "rebuild" it! They are 17 and 13 now, and it is still our favorite resort and we own at VWL and are planning to be there between Christmas and over New Years! I hope that you have a wonderful trip! We have never forgotten our first visit with our sons to the lodge!

Yes, I have reviewed the DIS Boards & my budget, but it just seems with the cost of the annual dues, it is a bit expensive. If you did not have the annual dues cost, it would seem to be more manageable. Oh, maybe someday when I can go more than once a year, it would be more cost effective & within my budget someday. I can always wish !!!

I love this resort, even tho i have never stayed there.
We had planned to stay here in Sept, but i wanted to bring my sister. Which means 3 adults and 3 kids. So that leaves WL out the question. So i went from PORS, but the trundle looks horribly uncomfortable, then to POP with 2 rooms, (still thinking of WL) then to ASMu for the Family Suite (i really don't want to stay there!!) then to Fort Wilderness. OK so i was JUST about to book FW and my sister calls. She can't go. Now...for the first few min i felt Then after i got off the phone i felt OK Ok i did feel a LITTLE guilty but HEY! We are headng to WL!!! Whoooo
Thanks to everyone for the pictures. My husband put one has his background on his laptop! We can always use more...

Yea!! You get to go to WL also!!!!! Aren't you excited? I just had to take a break from my all day studying to check out the thread, it is going sooooooo good & everyone has been sooo generous with their photos, expecially that awesome DIS'er-- DizneyNutz--- his photos are INCREDIBLE !!!

Awesome pictures....We're down to 79 days before we go to WL and WDW!!!!! I will take pics and post them when we get back. I'm so excited to be staying here for the first time. All of these pictures help sway my DH to move from POFQ to WL for our stay....so thank you thank you thank you everyone!

Just wanted tp say thanks for the artwork for the envelopes. It looks really good. We will be their June 1-7 for our familie's first Disney trip and I am really starting to get excited. It's hard to believe we are less than three months out. I have really enjoyed looking at the pictures with my DD6 and DS3.

We are headed to WL in less than 16 days! I was going over our itinerary/reservation the other night an noticed a group of 3 letters (in orange) after our Hotel and I am curuous to know what it means; see below:
