Wilderness Lodge or CBR?

I'm trying to decide. We are doing a resort only stay before a cruise and can stay either 1-night at the Wilderness Lodge or 2-nights at CBR. I haven't stayed at a Deluxe since 1985 and can only justify the cost since it's one night. Is it a waste just to stay for one night or would I be better off having 2-nights at a moderate. It will be me, my 3 year old son and my mum.
Thanks,

I'd do the 1 night at WL, all in 1 building, more dining options, a spectacular pool and lots of beautiful grounds -- plus you could take the ferry over to CR and do the monorail loop around the Poly, GF and CR.

Ended up booking the one night. The only rooms I could get with the discount at CBR were the pirate rooms so would have had to stay at value if I wanted the two nights.

We LOVED WL! My favorite of the 4 resorts we've stayed at. I did like CBR also, but WL is wonderful. I loved that it's all in one building and much more compact, and the pool areas are great (and they added a kids splash area right after we left last year).

Are you going to the parks? If so, WL is more convenient. I guess even if you aren't going to the parks, WL is more convenient to more dining options as well.

Since we are there such a short time we won't be going to the parks. Hoping I can luck out and get an early check in.
