We just got back from WL last week for our 2nd anniversary. The lodge is really pretty and quiet. They have a huge tree in the lobby and wreaths and garland strung throughout the property. There's a huge wreath over the fireplace and it's nice to sit in the rocking chairs in front of the fire. They had light up deer over the entrance which was cool and little Christmas trees around the lobby as well. Instead of regular music outside by the pool they played Christmas songs all week. It was so nice just relaxing and taking it all in. It was the most relaxing stay at WDW I've ever had. We cut some of our days short just to relax in the room. Our room was a standard. Room 5048 and it overlooks the smokehouse and generators during the day but at night you have a straightshot view of the castle. We were able to watch Wishes and Christmas Wishes just sitting on the bed.
