Wilderness Backtrail Adventure Segway Tour?

Anyone done this? Was it good?
We did it in January. It’s a nice, little tour. If you have previous Segway experience, the first 30 minutes will be tedious. They also throttle them so you can’t go very fast, and then they constantly tell you to hurry up and stay near. I think there were 8 of us total. 4793B323-5EE6-4D1E-B4D5-E0F02292F675.jpegOverall, we enjoyed it, and our guide was great, but unlike some other tours (Behind the Seeds, VIP), I wouldn’t pay to do it again. We took a Minnie Van from Coronado to FW because you meet at the general store and that’s beyond where other rideshares are allowed.

We also did it in January and enjoyed it, but even though we wore medium weight jackets, hats, and gloves, we were REALLY cold (we did the earliest one in the morning, and it was about 45 degrees). If the weather cooperates you should have a great time.

We did the first tour of the day as well and had to take shelter in the game room before the guide showed. The store was closed, and we were freezing!

We did in Dec numerous years ago and yes it was cold also. We liked it a lot but seriously missed the Epcot Segway tours we did 5 times years earlier. Now those were terrific. I guess with early rope drops coming into play and earlier park openings, they were worried about ‘traffic’. It was so cool to ‘Segway’ in and out of each World Showcase country.

I still think Ft Wilderness was a fun experience though and worth the money to do something different.

Only negative is it takes some thinking to figure how to get there. Ft Wilderness is always complicated for us. All the more so that the boat from Wilderness Lodge isn’t running.
