Lynn ... I wonder if they'll get the parade off today. I was watching Al Roker on the Today show a little bit ago and it looks like it's pouring over there! I wonder if they've ever cancelled it?

The parade will go off rain or shine. They may not be able to use the balloons, but I have seen those poor bands playing in heavy rain with 35 degree weather. Isn't that fun!

Happy Turkey Day to you and Mutt and Guido too. So far they are saying the parade is going on but they aren't sure about the balloons with the wind. That is the best part of the parade!! Well will see!!

Mornin everyone....Happy Thanksgiving!
Has anyone ever had one of those "fidgity" kids that just sits and bounces around before a vacation. I have one of those, now. I'm hoping the triptophan in the turkey will sedate her until we leave tomorrow morning. If not, I may have to rock her to sleep...(oh, stop worrying, I'll use a little rock).

Bill, remember, if you use too small a rock she will feel the pain. So, be humane and go to the next larger size than you think you will need!

I have been up for awile I just couldn't sleep, wonder why....Shell I am bouncing off the walls here too but Mike is STILL sleeping I mean doesn't he know we are going on vacation in a few hours.
We are heading to my sisters for lunch then plan to get on the road around 2pm.

Is everyone ready to go? I can honestly say that we couldn't be more prepared (Knock-on-wood). It's very miserible outside today. If you notice on the weather channel in Pa, you will see a gigantic storm that just passed over us. Still more coming, yay... At least we haven't gotten

That's great the Drew crawled, it will just seem like a few days and he will be running around the house. Of course first he will start pulling himself up to a standing position and then falling down and getting black and blue marks everywhere.


Rick it sounds like it is a good thing you are cooking today. Do the kids help?? Or is it better that only you cook

I am waiting to see the parade too. Greg is even taking Minnie for a walk so I wont miss it. I sure hope the balloons are ok to fly. It wont seem the same without them.

For those of you on the edge of your seat for the Emily report..she slept through the night last night., Antibiotics working already. Still has a little cough but nothing that will keep us off the ship - it's just the whole ear infection thing/drainage. By tomorrow (we fly mid day tomorrow) she should be fine.

Jessalyn always knew which remote was the "real" one and she never wanted the others we would actually let her play with! I guess kids have that sixth sense that says, "If they want me to play with it, it must not be any good!"

Can't wait to meet the little guy Friday -- OMG -- that's tomorrow!
