For those of you on the edge of your seat for the Emily report..she slept through the night last night., Antibiotics working already. Still has a little cough but nothing that will keep us off the ship - it's just the whole ear infection thing/drainage. By tomorrow (we fly mid day tomorrow) she should be fine.

It's a day here in IL! High is supposed to be 57!!! The good news is we shouldn't face weather-related travel delays tomorrow, the bad news is that we aren't going from one extreme to the other. Oh well, I'll take 70 over 50 any day!

Good morning all and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Both the kids feel sick this morning DD almost passed out in the bathroom-pale and faint feeling. DS nose is running like a hose .

We are all here to help the posts till 0700 tomorrow as well. In less than 24 hours we will be on our way to Philly to catch our flight....

Jaimie: are you still out there??? Are you leaving via Philly tomorrow??? Would be weird if we were on the same flight!!

Kathy: Keep the Florida heat coming-we are looking forward to it-very rainy and cold today.

Mornin everyone....Happy Thanksgiving!
Has anyone ever had one of those "fidgity" kids that just sits and bounces around before a vacation. I have one of those, now. I'm hoping the triptophan in the turkey will sedate her until we leave tomorrow morning. If not, I may have to rock her to sleep...(oh, stop worrying, I'll use a little rock).

I'm off to put up Christmas lights. It's way too nice here today to miss the opportunity no matter how early it is. If I don't do it, I'm sure when I return from the cruise it will be snowing..so outside I go to Christmasfy our house (no we're not the Griswolds) - MY favorite Christmas movie next to It's a Wonderful Life.

THE MASTERPIECE

Here is Bill's contribution to Thanksgiving Dinner today at his parent's house:

This is a 3-layer french vanilla cake with pumpkin mousse in between the layers. Surrounding it are white and milk chocolate molded cups filled with pumpkin mousse. The stem is carved from combined milk and white chocolates and air-brushed with food coloring. Not too shabby, huh? Think maybe we might have a winning business here?

Minnie is getting very suspicious since she saw the luggage in the bedroom. I think she remembers the last time we left her.

Good luck with the Christmas lights. Boy you have a lot of ambition. I am too lazy to do all that work today. We love Christmas Vacation too!!

HEY OKIE! I'm here...this is probably the last post I'll do before tomorrow. We are also leaving tomorrow morning at 6:45 and will pass Boomers around 7! Headed to Renaissance so tomorrow night, we'll be looking for Dissers.

The past couple of times we've flown the kids really complained about their ears hurting. So, I bought some of the earplanes to see if they help. If any little one is battling ear troubles, it may help them. It can be uncomfortable sometimes.

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to the Magic. We're looking forward to meeting everyone and spending a wonderful week at sea with all of you. We're off to have our Bird now. Happy trails!

Gosh this hurts to say but, Bill that cake is AWESOME!!!!!

I bet nobody will want to cut into it.
You may need to teach the chefs on the ship a thing or two. That is better than some of their creations I have seen.

Wendy: just a quick update you can try and keep your eyes open for me we have decided to rent a wheelchair in case I become to winded with all the walking involved we can always let the kids have a break if they get to tired. My grandson is 5 so he may also poop out.
