They probably knew you were giving away DEAD crawfish! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Another busy day here today in Michigan :car: Lots of running around to do.
I got my younger daughter a sleeping beauty dress for the cruise today. My other daughter decided she did want a princess outfit princess: She wanted a Jasmine out fit-I guess shes not to old :goodvibes

Doesn't look like I missed much today. All of the kids look so cute in their costumes. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Well off to bed. I will check in tomorrow.

Lorna :firefight

Hi everyone! Thanks for being relatively quiet over the past couple days!!!! :thumbsup2 It only took me about 15 minutes to catch up instead of the usual 30 if I miss more than half a day!!!

I had to get into work early this morning and then finally broke down and went grocery shopping tonight. (Bill was tired of take out! :confused3 )

:welcome: :welcome: Tom and family! I'm usually a little quicker to post, but I've been dragging these past few days. This will be the 2nd DCL cruise for DH, DD5 and me. (DH & I have been on 4 other lines, but we really love  DCL!)

Shell, glad to hear you're having a good trip! Enjoy that weather -- it's supposed to get to 20 or below tonight. :furious: I am sooooo ready for the trip!

All the Halloween pictures were great! Lynn -- DS looked like he had had enough of that costume!

I haven't even looked at the pictures I took yesterday & Sunday of DD in her gown. :sad2: :sad2: I had hoped to get to Disney Store today to look for leftover gowns, but I'll have to gamble and put it off another day.

I didn't even watch DWtS -- who got the boot tonight???

Better wrap this up! Here's some bananas for the cause since I've been a slacker lately. (Please don't get out the whip, Kathy! :teeth: )

so about those door signs........for both wdw and dcl trips i have approximatly 47 slides on powerpoint to print out. a bit obsessed i guess. please note that they are technically for 4 doors (3 in wdw and 1 on the cruise) but still.

dave's family is not as obsessed with this trip as i am to wdw. weird huh b/c im going as their "guest" technically i guess. oh well. weve talked about inlaws before and weve definitly talked about non-disers so...........at least i know on the 25th ill be joining other psycho's, er i mean, nana heads who share in my love for all that is disney.

hanging out at work again. internship got me down this morning with one of my families in crisis (AGAIN!!!!!!!) so i had to deal with that all morning and then i had a session with another family and then class in the evening/ night. so im running on about 2 hours of interrupted sleep not so good. 8am cant get here fast enough.....

off to catch up on the main board (what is the deal with all the celebs and what is their big secret???)

maybe try to get some more homework done this evening, doubt it though

is anyone else leaving from a wdw resort on the 25th? just wondering what time we will get picked up by magical express bus? hope to be one of the first groups there!

Good Evening Everyone!
Well...22 days until we leave for our trip... :woohoo: and my dh and I figured out that with work...I have 5 days to pack and get all the Disney paraphenalia loaded up. :scared1: Why do I feel it is necessary to buy my kids every stinkin' disney thing I see..."for the cruise!" I will be shipping boxes...but jeesh!
Kirby and I wore our pirate costumes last night... pirate: I wasn't really aware of the decolletage of my shirt...it could be very interesting....
Thank you all for the messages and warm welcome. I think I will be posting more as a place to panic and vent without frightening my family. Because, as most moms know....Disney may create the "magic" but there is a great deal of planning and preparation behind the scenes that needs to occur on our end for the magic to truly be there!
:tinker:
**Stop buying things....Stop buying things....Stop buying things...*** oh, sorry...just talking to myself. :rotfl:

Good morning, :sunny:

Where's that dream boat Wally????

He needs to keep posting with us!!

We are foggy this morning, 0 visibility, luckily DH doesnt have to leave for a couple of hours for work, hopefully it will be cleared up by then.

Yesterday I got all my present wrapped that I have bought so far, accept the exchange gift for the cruise. I think I should just bring paper and wrap on board. I am afraid they wont allow a wrapped gift through security.

Well I am off to get into some kind of trouble again. I seem to do that more often, the older I get. Guess my mouth is in gear before my brain is started in the mornings sometimes :rotfl2: Or I'm getting to the age where I dont care what others think about my opinions anymore. :lmao: It does make things more fun and interesting. :chat:

Have a good morning everyone, I will be checking back often today to see if that "DREAMBOAT" has posted yet?? :confused3

Kathy

Good Thursday Morning     ,
Well it's a cool Fall day today :sunny: :sunny: in NY!! We are off :car: :car: :car: to the Mall for Christmas :santa: :santa: :santa: Card Pictures. Wanted to get done before the cruise!! Well I am off to get in the shower while DS is watching Elmo :woohoo: :woohoo: !! Talk to you all later!!

Kathy: I put gift for the exhcange in a gift bag with tissue so if security needs to look they can. I know I will not have time to wrap it before the meeting with DS!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Today is my first of two birthdays, with tomorrow being the second. As a birthday present, I get to "work" from home both today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, I really do have to work!

The Halloween pictures were awesome! I loved looking at the kiddies all dressed up! :thumbsup2

Have a wonderful day today!

party: :bday: Happy Birthday Bob!

We had a Snowy drive to work this morning. Blech. At home it was just raining, but once we got to the highway it was starting to change to snow.
By the time we got to work it was starting to "stick".
Oh well, it will all be gone in a couple of hours... (I hope!)

Sorry, I meant to add the story about the two birthdays.

I was always told that my birthday was 11/2, and that is when the family celebrated it. But, my BC says that I was born on 11/3. Now, I was born in the middle of the day, so this is not like a midnight mix-up. Mom and dad even argued for many years with Mom saying I was born on 11/2 and dad saying "You had so many drugs in your for pain you didn't know what day it was, it was 11/3!" So, when I was about 25, dad was going through some old military papers and we happened to find the tag that hung on the end of the crib in the hospital, and it said 11/2. So every legal document I have makes me one day younger than I actually am (aren't you ladies jealous?)!

So, I celebrate both days! :lmao:

party: :bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOB :bday: party:

That's a great story about your birthday! And yes...I am jealous!

Cloudy and a little rainy here today in NJ. I'm going to try and get some stuff together today for our garage sale this weekend (yes, the one we were supposed to have a couple of weeks ago). I've got DD's clothes for the cruise put aside and I will be working on DS's today too!

I can't believe 3 weeks from tomorrow we are flying to Florida :scared1: I'm starting to feel a little behind the 8 ball...I've got to make some lists and then I will feel better. Oh yeah..got to work on my signs too!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Kathy: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That's my excuse - I'm at that "age"! I certainly surprise my family, friends and co-workers more often than they expect! I am often their source of entertainment.

Denise: I seldom bring home leftovers from a restaurant. Dave eats his meal, plus part of mine. He is well known as a big eater. There is a B&B in northern Michigan we used to frequent, that had that "warning" on his guest card.

Ladies: This is OT of cruise discussion. I need suggestions for a Thanksgiving lunch. My DD, DSIL, and 2 grandkids will be at our house for lunch, then they are heading to the Detroit area for dinner with the other side of the family. They are having turkey for dinner.

Has anyone booked a 2008 cruise? Kathy?

Have a great day!

I'm with you and Kathy, Jan. Same Age - Same ATTITUDE!

My suggestion would be an "appetizer buffet". You know how you hate to fill up on appies lest you spoil your dinner? Well, here is license to fill, since it will be several hours before they dine. You could have all kinds of finger food, dips, cut fruits and veggies and tiny finger desserts.

Going to book on board for self and sil - can't WAIT. We leave for Florida, two weeks from tomorrow.

Happy Day, All!

Morning all:

Happy birthday Bob :cheer2: So how old are you today vs. tomorrow? :rotfl:

Kathy I will give "dreamboat" Wally the message.....lets see what he will do...

Kelly I'm with you, for awhile I seemed on top of things, now I feel behind to....this is my weekend to catch up and get things in order.....

Well have to finish getting ready for work (yuk)...the closer we get the more I really hate going into work.

My sister was discharged yesterday from the hospital and will be cruising with us :Pinkbounc :woohoo: :cheer2: . However, I work for her doctor. So he tells me the other day, your sister is fine to go on the cruise but you have to stay home to monitor her medication. They try anything at my office to keep me there as I am the only one who knows and my job and insurance. They will not have a go to person when I'm gone..... :) job security!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Great Idea! I second that! :cheer2: That is what I do every Christmas with my dh's family...they come over around 1 for "appetizers" and then go to their respective dinner locations afterwards...we all get to connect...and then we go to dinner at my aunt's with my family...everyone loves it!

:bday: :bday: Bob!!! Great b-day story! My dad's b-day is also tomorrow! :thumbsup2 Enjoy the time at home!

Feenie -- we don't mention the S*** word on this family-friendly site! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Finally got DD on the school bus. The substitute driver went right past our house without stopping! (She is wearing bright pink instead of camoflage! :rolleyes1 )

I better get going to work. :bounce: :bounce: Hope you all have a great day!

P.S. Wally, come out, come out, wherever you are. . .you're sooooooo dreamy! :love1: :rotfl2:

Hi Jan,
well no bookings for 08 for us, at least not yet.
I am waiting to see if they keep doing cutbacks in all the areas I love before we decide what to do.

Did you book for 08?? :confused3

Bob, I am not jealous of your two birthdays. In my opinion that makes you age twice as fast as the rest of us :rotfl2:

I agree, too! Just try to keep it simple (buy as many of the items already cut-up, prepared, etc.). Since you just might have a couple other things going on ( :confused3 ), the last thing you want to do is spend hours cutting fruits & veggies, etc.

We have a Christmas Eve party at our house every year and every year I spend the whole day chopping, preparing and arranging the food (that's just the food I couldn't take care of ahead of time! :stir: ). Every year I say I'll scale back and make it simpler, but it hasn't happenend yet. . . I'm sure this year I'll lose my OCD ways! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Denise -- glad to hear you're sister is doing better! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Maybe you'll get a raise and/or promotion when you get back from the cruise since they will have missed you so much! :yay: :yay: :rolleyes1
