Regional gift. Im in trouble. All we have around here is Bass Pro. And Im sure that the women on the cruise don't want some hunting ornament.
I wouldn't put anything past this bunch of   !!!

I saw a thread on the main cruise forum about where to find bananas on board. My initial thought was, "Everywhere, on the 11/25 cruise!" Don't think that's the answer the OP was looking for. :rotfl: Am I the only one who thought that post title was funny???? :rolleyes1

I thought it was funny, too. I was going to respond, but thought better of it!

i am checking in for the second time in a row! hold your hats everyone!

dutch- internship is a year long guy to be a marriag and family therapist (i see some of us need some therapy on this board! lol)

i bought my regional gift yesterday, i might keep it though. i wish i could bring some cheesesteaks, tastycakes, and pretzels but since we' ll be in the world the week before dont think thats a tasty idea, although if someone else is bringing crawfish and leftover perhaps it will fit right in!

How about a Jim Stafford autograph? I mean, the gift is supposed to be worth $10 but you could always pad it with an additional key chain from Branson or something :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Everyone!

Just checking in. By the time I catch up with the reading I'm off and running again. DS has karate and DD has dance...his ends at the same time that hers begins....can you say "I need a clone???"

Youze guys really put a smile on my face. I sit hear reading and by the time I'm done I've got a grin on my face from ear to ear :)

Lynn - DS is ADORABLE. I so remember those days...the kids kind of looking at you like "Are you nuts, you expect me to wear this????"

I am going to look for my tiara as soon as I get off of here. I think DD took it. I'm pretty sure she has the blinking minnie ears one from the World that she will be bringing.

Runa - can I borrow that when your DH is done with it? :rotfl2:

I still am in denial about how close we are to actually boarding the ship. I guess I better start doing some things around here.

Have a great night everyone!

Kelly

My Tiara came! I LOVE IT! And it laid to rest one of my fears - that my hair is so short the tiara wouldn't stay on my head. It does. :cloud9:

www.glitterdiva.com

erhinestone has some gorgeous stuff, but did you see? IT's wholesale only! Otherwise, I might be tempted to order another one. I'm getting into this whole "Queen" thing.

I actually think BassPro sells some Christmas stuff. We used to get their catalogue back when we had a boat (now DVC). I'm having trouble with the regional gift . . . they're either made in china or all about New York City. THERE'S A WHOLE STATE UP HERE, PEOPLE!

How's the baby today, Lynn? And someone else was ailing . . . how are you?

Anybody up for a 3 day MLK weekend? I had a wild idea . . .

Good Evening Everyone   ,
Tirara, I am going to look when I go to the mall this weekend. I think I might do Cinderella's tirara. I don't know. I have sooooooooo much to pack and do before the trip. Well DH is running late today so we are having dinner alittle late. Made Italian Wedding Soup!! It was not made :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 if I don't say so myself :yay: !! Well I am going to eat dinner, give DS a bath and then a bottle and then a shower for me and bed!! Tomorrow I am suppose to go to my friends' house for lunch but we will see how DS is feeling!!

Tonya: You can hold DS as long as you want to get your baby fix!!

Linda: DS is going alittle better today still not 100% himself yet. I am doing okay!! Thanks for answering ;) ;) !!

Linda whats the plan for the MLK weekend?

I am always ready to plan something else...

Wendy

Good Night All,
Going to start my duties with DS. Talk to you tomorrow!!
Sweet Dreams and Good Night :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: !!

WEll, I was just thinking . . . always dangerous, I know, but . . . I'm going to be at the world for Marathon and a few days aftwerward and I'd like to n ot come home until monday, but the world gets crowded on a holiday weekend so . . . hmm. HOW about a CRUISE! But one person in a category 12 would be 600 on a three night cruise . . . but if it were 2 people it might be less . . . and if it were a bunch of  women . . . so then I thought . . . and where might i find some of those? :rotfl2:

I think I might have my hubby convinced to make a day trip to DW when we get off the ship. :cheer2: It will make a long drive home on Sunday. I'm thinking Epcot because we didn't get to spend much time there when we went last year. Or maybe we'll do the Magic Kingdom because it's always fun. My oldest daughter would like to see the POC since it's been redone. But we'd really love to do Soarin again (and again and again).
I need to be able to give him the following information:

What time can we get off the ship?
How long is the drive to DW?
Do you think we can get a hotel room on Disney at the last minute? We don't want to book in case we get off the ship and are just too tired.
Would a last minute room cost a ridiculous amount?
What's the height requirement for Soarin? I am trying to find that now.
Do you think we'd be too tired after the cruise?
Do you think I'm insane for wanting to drive back to VA in one day?

Linda:

I'm interested! What dates? My DS was considering the WDW marathon but has decided to wait another year. We were just in Columbus for the marathon.

Hmmm ... weighing options ... come home, go to work, pay mortgage ... or do additional cruise .... hmmmm :scratchin

Evening all:

Well I think that I can get into the green shirts, shorts and tiara's :thumbsup2 I mean is this a statement or what???? Can you imagine all the other people on the ship, there gonna think were  . :rotfl: This is soooo much fun I cant wait......

I have so much to do the next two weekends, I just hope I can put a dent in what I have to do.

Oh I also saw the post about the bananas I wanted to post but also thought better about it.

Good evening Banana Heads

Delta just called and changed our flights. The good news is we get into Orlando 2 hours earlier than before. The bad news is on the 2nd we leave an hour earlier at noon, so no time for long goodbyes on our last day

Sleep tight ... dream of banana-flavored cocktails and tiaras!

Carrie let me try to answer as many as possible
You can get off the boat usualy around 830-900
Its an hour drive to the parks ( we are going also that day)
It shouldn't be too busy that weekend and you should be able to get a room
I think Soarin is 40 inches
You shouldn't be tired I have gone to the parks after every cruise we have been on this is 5 for us
Oh coarse you are not

Hey Shell and Cheri you up for a 3 day cruise with the girls :Pinkbounc

Denise I hope your sister is better soon, let her wear the tiara in the hospitalthat will make her feel better and send those positive vibes she needs

Wendy

Jan, I have about 30 friends doing some assortment of 1/2 ,full and Goofy. I'm the "team mom". lol. Everybody else is going home Monday the 8th, but I'm planning to stay on. The three day leaves Thursday and returns Sunday that would be the 11th through the 14th, and Monday is the holiday. Certainly better than New YOrk in January!

So, I get the Tiara, put it on, and forget about it. I'm upstairs checking email and dh comes home. I turn around to greet him and I get - a frown, eyes roll heavenward, he purses his lips and shakes his head. I burst out laughing. I TOLD 'em that's what you'd do, Honey! Well I missed the frown and the pursed lips, but I got the eye roll and headshake. lol. That settled it! I'm DEFINITELY WEARING IT! (we've been married off and on for 37 years more or less - he should know better by now.)

Carrie - two things - I'd book the room soon - we got one and at some levels there's limited availability. On the other hand, a friend just got a post card code for that weekend, so there's no telling. The second thing is - it's a long drive to Virginia, especially if it's northern VA and not southern.

Denise - sending healing pixie dust to your sister. We need her up & about in 3 weeks or less.

Linda you made me laugh out loud. Im picturing it all happening and it was great. Tell him you are practicing for the cruise. And he can refer to you as Queen Linda.
