Delta just called and changed our flights. The good news is we get into Orlando 2 hours earlier than before. The bad news is on the 2nd we leave an hour earlier at noon, so no time for long goodbyes on our last day

Sleep tight ... dream of banana-flavored cocktails and tiaras!

Our flight back to reality leaves at 1:15 so we won't be hanging around too long either. :sad1: :sad1:

:thumbsup2 Linda....that was soooo funny....oh well these men are just now going to realize that they will now have to bow down to us in public instead of just behind closed doors :rotfl2: I'm sure they all are not crazy about that :rotfl: This is just going to be too much fun.....

Ummm Bob, are you still wearing your tiara with us?

Wendy: not a bad idea, I will call my sister and see if she wants to wear the tiara in the hospital....of couse they may send down a psy. consult... :rotfl:

Have a good evening all. Goodnight

Denise

Thanks for the advice so far. We will probably be talking about this a bit more. I will have to tell him that it's an hour drive. I thought it would 45 mins or less. But I think he might still be OK with it. He'd really like to stay at the Wilderness Lodge or the Animal Kingdom. If I booking now would I still have to pay if we canceled that day? We would need a room for 5 and that always seem to be a problem.

I don't think my son will be tall enough for Soarin this year either. He'd love it so much. I will measure him again but I doubt he's 40 inches.
My poor short kids. :tiptoe:

The good news is that we are in Southern coastal VA. But it will still be at least a 13 hour drive. :drive: But if we leave at 5:00. It is still very doable. The kids will be fine in the car that long. My hubby is a mornig person so he won't have any problem driving that early. I could nap in the morning and then drive in the afternoon. :car: We drive to Ohio quite often and that takes about 9 hours and is pretty easy. Can you tell that I'm trying to talk myself into it?

Howdy everyone,

well today we have gone from setting record lows this week to record highs today. Suppose to be 86 today. UGH!!! That's Florida for ya, you freeze one day and roast the next!!! :confused3

I will wear my tiara to the meet too. princess: Just have to get it back from King Louie, he is wearing it while swinging from my dining room chandelier at the moment.

I also bring those big white Mickey hands to wave bye bye to people along the channel and at CC where they wave at you too. I get a few weird looks, but i cant let the kids have all the fun.

Kathy

Good Morning!!!

Denise -- Hope your sister is doing better.

Linda -- Got a chuckle when you said "I've been thinking". I use that phrase a lot and I get looks like "oh no, what will she tell me/us" or "oh no, that's dangerous".

It looks like Gitta and I will be the only females in the group who are tiara-less.

TGIF -- Dave and I are having lunch today. We only see each other on weekends. Makes for a great relationship!!!

Jan

Shell: Our flight doesn't leave until approx. 8pm on 12/2. We're not sure what we're doing for the day. That'll be on our cruise meeting agenda with Bob and Gitta this weekend.

Jan

Good Morning All     ,
Well this morning we have ice on the cars and very cold winds. Today I have to go food shopping with DS and then I am meeting my friend with the twins at the Mall for lunch. Well I will talk to you all later.0 Well I am going to go foodd shopping!! Talk to you later!!

Shell: Our flight home is at 12:30. Ours was just changed too!!

Linda: That cruise sounds sooooooo tempering :thumbsup2 but I will have to pass :sad2: because when we get back we are going to putting our house on the market and looking for a bigger. So that is way all the money will be going!!

Jan, why will you and Gitta be tiaraless?

Lynn, just remember . . . bigger house = more to clean

How is Sis this morning?

Can you smell S*** for this weekend? I can. :( My dh is so HAPPY!

Good morning Nanas!

I can't even tell what kind of weather we have this morning because it's still pitch black outside! Checked the forecast -- morning rain - high of 49. I do see that we're supposed to be in the fifties over the weekend, and possibly mid-60s by Monday. :cool1: It also appears that the storm system that buried Colorado in S*** will turn to rain as it heads east. Maybe Poplar Grove is immune to this. :thumbsup2

That's a big difference between Northerners & Suthnas -- we're getting excited about temps in the 50s & 60s. Y'all crank up those furnaces and pull out the winter gear with those temps!! ;)

Better get goin'! You know it's a pretty boring day when I spend 2 papragraphs talking about the weather. :sad2:

Have a great Friday, and I'll catch up with ya later!

Cheri

Linda: Because we won't have tiaras! We'll observe the tiara wearers!

Just a dreary, rainy, cold morning in mid-Michigan.

Jan

Good morning, Another gloomy day here in Michiagn :guilty: I to am looking forward to the mid 50s on Monday-We will be pulling out the short sleeves again :rotfl: Going to a big Halloween party tonight. That will be about exciting as my day gets. I think it will be fun. A night out with no kids is alway fun :bitelip:

Jan I am thinking we may be on the same flight home. I think our flight is some where around 7:30?? We are still trying to decide what to do for the day.

A cruise in January sounds nice, but I don't think I will be able to swing that.

Denise I hope your sister continues to get better.

Well thats all for now. Off to the grocery store. That is always fun. I will check in later.

Lorna :firefight

Good Morning All!

Made the drive home from South Georgia last night and surprised DW!

Today, it is rainy, rainy, rainy here in Georgia. And tonight will be a "rainy night in Georgia"! Looking forward to cool weather and a great football game tomorrow with Ga. Tech playing Miami (FL).

Have a great day all!

Good morning Banana Heads

A standing ovation for Linda for her hysterical description of Bruce's reaction to her tiara! :rotfl2: Hey, I read your post this morning ... did you mean the S-N-O-W word? Because I chose to read it with the alternative word :lmao:

Jan, you and Gitta need to add tiara shopping to your pre-cruise meeting this weekend. It's a requirement!!!! :rotfl: At least get Bob and Dave to wear them! :lmao:

Wendy & Cheri, Bill says I'm not allowed to go on a cruise without him. I told him he'd look pretty silly on a GIRLS cruise :lmao: . Last night we were talking about the cruise (I know, big surprise, huh?!), and he said to me, "I'm not going to see you at all on this cruise, am I? You'll be with the girls the whole time." I told him, in as sweet a voice as I could, "That's not true, honey! I'll still sleep with you!" :lmao: (sorry Wendy, guess we have to change plans now :lmao: :lmao: )

Bob, so sweet that you surprised Lisa! You romantic-al fool you!

Catch y'all later. KEEP THE BANANAS COMING! ONLY 29 DAYS TO REACH GOAL!

:wave2: Good mid-mornin' to you all.

Jan - No tiara's here either, so, you won't be alone. I don't have any hair to attach it to anyway ;) There is NO way Esther will wear one either.
You should have seen the look I got when I told my h that everyone is REALLY wearing tiara's. :rotfl2: You had to be here to appreciate it.

Well, today I'm going to quit my one week job. Don't know how the director of the school will take it :confused3 I'm hoping she'll understand and keep me in mind a year or two down the road. Cullen's not really ready and to be frank with you, Nana is having a hard time seeing him cry all afternoon. Everyone keeps saying to give it a couple of weeks, but I think, at whos expense? He'll have to go to school soon enough. In fact, I'm thinking of home schooling him right up to the time he goes to the university! :rotfl2:

Kathy - how is your HOT day going? My sister has those big Mickey Hands too! Maybe I will see if she'll let me borrow them...Stacey would have a great time waving them.

Lynn - how is the baby feeling? I hope he's doing better. How do you like your job?

I'm off to get ready for work. Have to feed Laura, get her dressed, get Cullen's lunch made, get him feed and dressed, and then dress myself, get the dog put up in the crate, fix diaper bags, mix Laura's afternoon bottle, load the car with kids and all their items because Esther picks them up from school, and then away I go. I'm tired already! Maybe the big adjustment is more on Nana then Cullen! :goodvibes

Happy afternoon all...Stephen, you out there? I need help on a gift idea for these people! Now that you have yours figured out! HELP! Any ideas Kathy?
 Pat

Hello Everyone     ,
Well just came back from food shopping!! DS was angel while we good shopped!! Heading to Toys R Us to get DS a Elmo's World tape for Halloween and I want to Play that Deal or No Deal game. Well I will talk later. Gotta go suit up Ds is his hat and jacket!! He really does not like that ;) ;) !!!

Linda: I know DH told me last night I will have alot more cleaning to do!! I know that I will have alot more cleaning and dusting but it worth it!!!!
I want DS to have a nice backyard to play in.

Pat: I don't think my job is going to work out. It is too much on me for one day. I have too do the book fair and all this extra stuff that I can't with a 6 month old. And DS is not happy when I leave :sad2: :sad2: . The money is not worth it if my DS is upset every week!! DS is doing alot better but still has a nasty stuffy nose. He seems himself which is good.!! How is your job going???

Yes I meant S*O* Of course in MY vocabulary S*ow = S**t.

Shell, you don't want to scare the girls away! Maybe they're shy!

I guess I'll keep my old man even if he does roll his eyes at me - he doesn't mind my girls trips! (and I don't protest his ski trips - I KNOW better ;-) He's OBSESSED. or . . if he does mind, he doesn't SAY he minds, which is equally good!

Linda:

I might be able to get Bob to wear a tiara! I've asked him if he would volunteer to be a judge at 70s night in Rockin Bar D. He said yes! For those of you who have watched the judging at 70s night, you'll know what he'll have to do after judging.

Shell:

I went on a girls 3 day Wonder cruise in June 2005. Took my best friend, Sue, and Alyssa, my goddaughter with Down Syndrome. Great way for me to spend DVC points. Had a great time. Dave didn't complain as he went fishing in Wawa, Ontario for a week that summer.
