The talent show is one thing we have never got to see, so far.
It seems we always have had something else we wanted to do, this time we are going to try to see it.
I have heard so many great comments about it.

There are just so many things to do after 12 cruises we still havnt seen it all!!But we have had fun trying.

Ok, I want to know for sure if you ladies are wearing tiaras to the meet on saturday. It will look pretty classy with the lime green shirts
I will pack my tiara in my carry on so I will have it for the meet, if your really going to do it.

Remember ladies the checked luggage can arrive up to 6 p.m., so if you want to wear those tiaras, put them in your carry on bag!!!

Good Afternoon All ,
Well today I feel that I don't have enough in the day to get everything done. Today I just feel overwhelmed!!! Oh, I got tickets to The View talk show so I am taking my Mom. I am going on November 7th and it should be fun !! My sister is going to watch DS which I am nervous about!! I don't like leaving him because I know he is going to be a pain because he is so attached to me!! All he is going to do is scream and cry !!
Well today I am getting everything done before 3 pm because I am watching General Hospital because Laura is going to return .
Tonight I am going to start gift wrapping my Christmas gifts. It too much to do without DH here to help DH. DS likes to crumble the wrapping paper when I am trying to wrap the present !! We figured that we were going to decorate for Christmas on the 19th of Nov. so it is all done when we get home . Talk to you later!!

What is this regional gift a couple of you are talking about. Is there a gift exchange? Do I need to buy a gift?

Jan We are from White Lake. Only about 1 hour from you. We have family in Grand Rapids so we drive through Lansing often. You said you guys were from the Detroit area. Where abouts did you live? I also have a brother in Kalamazoo. We were just there a month ago.

Thanks for the information on Palo. We did not get to go there last time. We are also going to try to get reservations for the brunch and tea. I guess i will be doing this as soon as I get on the ship.

I will wear my Tiara first day. Even if you all won't. I will have to put it in the safe after that (yah right). So are we going to wear them on semi-formal night too, since we will only get two good wearings out of them if we stick with sail away and formal night. You can tell I have toooooooo much time on my hands.

Not sure I'll make 1:01 at Signals . . . we like to eat lunch in Parrot Cay and relax. But, tiara will be in carryon, along with Dimples, my TeddyBear, and I will wear it to 2:45. Oh Lordie the gift needs to be in there too, PLUS the necessities of life. Formal night, check. SemiFormal night, check. I would LOVE a photo of us girls in our green shirts and Tiaras It makes me smile just to think about it!

We decided it would be a $10 limit, one gift per family. We thought since we come from all over we would give either a regional gift or an ornament for the holidays.
Bring it to the meet in the Promenade lounge on the first day at 2:45
we are going to draw a name out of the hat and whose ever name you draw, they will give you the gift they brought. So if you bring a gift, have your name on a paper to drop in the hat. Then everyone who brings a gift will draw a name out.

Does that make sense??
If not someone else can explain it better. but that should answer both your questions.

oh, there is also a pre meet, meet at the signals bar at 1:01 the first afternoon for drinks. But the family meet is at 2:45 in the Promenade lounge the first day.

Lorna, the real value of the list with the pictures is that you can AVOID certain people JUST KIDDING, PEOPLE!

We will be meeting at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday in the Promenade Lounge. During that time, we will exchange regional gifts by picking a name out of a hat. $10 limit, something that truly reflects where you're from. Don't pick Wendy's because it will have dead crawfish . Ditto on Cheri's (turkey festival leftovers -- long story ). I think we're wearing our tiaras with our green t-shirts for this meet, right girls? And some group photos are a must!

Dave and I both grew up in Dearborn, but didn't meet until we were in our early 30s. Raised our family in Woodhaven, then Allen Park. We've been married for 22 years. We have 3 kids -- all in their 30s and 6 grandchildren, the oldest being 4.5 years. My DD lives in Kzoo. She met her DH at WMU. My other DD lives in Wyandotte. My DS lives in Morgantown, WV.
