Sorry Kathy, it didn't work. I do have a name on photo bucket, but it might just be the picture I'm trying to copy. I'll try again later, and thanks for helping me out. I realy apreciate it. :thumbsup2

Good Morning All you    Heads,

Jeff: How is the car :car: :car: ???

I'm loving the new car. My last two cars have been saab's which I also loved but with GM taking them over they have lost a lot of their "saab personality"

Happy Saturday to all. It's a miserable day here in Pittsburgh. Cold. Wet. Dreary. *sigh* So we're heading to Dave and Buster's with friends to play this afternoon. Have a great day all.

Look Kathy, I did it!

Who likes Mickey Mouse?

:woohoo: :woohoo: hello all.....guess what? I'm just about finished cleaning. DS actually got up and helped. He was a great help so I was very pleased with him today. You know how these young adults are!! :goodvibes

So just a few more things and I'm done, then I will start getting ready for my concert tonight. :wave2:

Later
Denise

joelidol......fantastic picture.....who could not love Mickey??!!!!

Okay, since there has been some discussion about this movie, I have to tell you what Lisa found the other day. She received one of those catalogs where you order all the knick knack and As Seen on TV stuff in the mail. As she was looking through it, she found that they sell......A replica of the lamp that Ralphie's dad won! :rotfl: You can get a full size one, and even a night light sized one. I may just have to order one!

Happy Weekend Banana Heads    from cold, dreary Akron, Ohio ... where ALL the fun is (NOT)! :sad2:

Not much going on here ... it's ugly (as I mentioned) and so today I think I'll work on door signs (yes, I actually get to make a couple!) and it's a perfect day for making soup that we'll eat for dinner over the week. I'm starting with a Cheesy Chicken Tortilla Soup which is a staple in our house in the winter ... it's awesome! :goodvibes

Good pic, Josh.

Wendy, allow me to retort. In no way is Bill in the "doghouse" right now ... in fact, I keep telling him "YOU NEED TO POST!" but he says the cruise is just too far away yet and not coming fast enough! Kids ... :sad2:

I'm so excited that I will have fellow Christmas Story afficiandos with me on the cruise :happytv: ! It's a staple here. On Xmas Eve at 8 p.m., the TV goes to TBS and stays there for 24 hours (makes Bill cringe, which makes it all the more fun :rotfl2: ). Everytime I turn it on, there's my Ralphie, Randy, Schwartz and Flick! I also have it on DVD so I can watch it anytime, plus don't forget that they usually play it on Thanksgiving night, too (how sad that I know all this? :rotfl2: ) My favorite line: "But the bell rang!" (it has such an innocence to it that we can all identify with). Bill's line is "Not a finga!" Hmmm ... there's still a couple of months till Xmas ... maybe Bill would like homemade bunny jammies ... :lmao:

See ya! GO BUCKEYES!

Josh,
so glad it finally worked for you!!!

Shell,
tell Bill that he is missed here, we need more guys posting to keep the score even. Hope he posts soon.

Tiggerking,
I saw that lamp too, awesome huh???

Kathy

:) Hello all.....well just taking a nice little break, then I need to start getting ready for the concert.....it was a beautiful sunny day up until about 40 minutes ago, now clouds are rolling in and a little sprikle and some thunder. I just dont want it to rain tonight. It's over an hour drive to get to the stadium and I dont like driving in the rain!!

I also love the movie Christmas story....but I'm like you Shell, I could watch that move on Christmas eve..its just soooo Christmassie....
On Wally and mine frist xmas after we were married, we started watching and opening our gifts to Its a Wonderful Life...we did that for years until they quit showing it on xmas eve :confused3

Have a great evening everyone...

:thumbsup2 You and my DD can fight over the top bunk! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good afternoon everyone!

It's actually a nice sunny 69 degrees here -- I better go outside and "play" with the boxelder bugs! One thing I hate about :sunny: days in the fall -- the bugs that come out and swarm around the house. :furious:

We've had a rather busy morning so far. We got an early call from DH's sister saying that their ice cream shop was broken into and had a fire. DH got the insurance claim set up for them (he's the agent for their policy) and then headed over there to see what was salvagable.

I headed in the opposite direction since I had a trail race this morning. Found out that one of my running buddies is actually the husband of my third grade teacher!! :teacher: The funny thing was when I told him my maiden name and he instantly knew who my family was! Guess we must've made quite an impression on his wife! :lmao:

Now everyone is napping (I just got up and have the house and, more importantly, the computer all to myself! :cool1: ).

Ahhhh, Christmas Story :santa:  . Can't think of my very favorite scene or lines -- there's the flag pole, the Scott Farkus affair (as it came to be known), the tire-changing, the visit to Santa, the Bumpus hounds, and the imfamous lamp! I may have to pop the movie in and watch it! :happytv: I think my dad would get a real kick (no pun intended) out of the leg lamp!

Suppose I better get some cleaning done before I hunker down to watch the Nebraska/Kansas game.

Denise, have a great time at the concert! :thumbsup2

Shell -- make some extra chicken tortilla soup and send it our way! :stir: My DD absolutely LOVES it! She orders it whenever we go out to eat!

56 days sounds so close!    Josh, loved the Mickey picture ::MickeyMo !

Talk to you later!

Cheri

Sorry to hear you lost one, Cherie - and glad to hear we may gain one - especially if he's a 'geezer' - then Kathy and I won't be alone as the oldest ;-) Oh wait - somebody else was talkin about her grandkids too, who was that? If I go back a page to check, this will disappear. . . I've GOT to get organized! Today was almost a total loss, but I did take some notes . . . fish extender? . . . shoe bag . . . passporter tips? . . . Oh and I haven't done a door sign . . . got to go find my list . . .how many days do we have to go? ONLY 56? YIKES!

It's me! I'm the oldest one. I'm older than Kathy :guilty:
Pat

Well mom and dad are in. we booked their cabin today and they are ready. :cool1:

So its 2 more turkeys and  for the trip
Wendy

Hi Pat! I'm oldern'Kathy too! But, collectively we ARE the grannies! I LOVE being 'a certain age' - I always had attitude, but now I get away with it. heheh.

Lynn, where in NY do you live that you had frost on the cars??? We didn't even get below 40!

Any Scrapbookers among us? My LSS is having an 18 hour "crop-for-the cure". I signed up because all the other fund raisers are runs, which I can't do. Now, I'm wondering how I'll stay awake for 18 hours (+travel time) and what the heck will keep me busy that long. Wish some of y'all lived closer!

Today, we went to the transfer station, bookstore, then while B. watched Notre Dame, I went grocery shopping, scrapbook store, Boscovs to pick up my dress (I don't love the skirt, but the top is very pretty) for formal night. Now, I think I'll go watch the inside of my eyelids.

Good Night, All!

Linda, I scrapbook also its so much fun. I have a craft room at home I'll try to take a pic for you to see. I love scrapbooking and have numerous disney books from our past trips.

Kathy, now there will be 3 more there at 10 am, I inherited this trait from someone right :lmao:

Shell, tell Bill I will be waiting for ya'll come 10am :rotfl2:

Off to bed have a great night everyone
Wendy

Good Early Morning to you all    ,

Yesterday we went to the outlets with my mom which was very good. Got a few X-Mas :santa: :santa: gifts. My mom went crazy for DS in Carter's for X-Mas!! It's her 1st grandchild ;) ;) ;) !! I decorated my house yesterday for Halloween!! Last night we gave DS his 1st jar of carrots baby food :woohoo: :woohoo: . He loved it :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: !! Today we are going to Sam's Club and PetSmart and that's it. Making Beef Stew with Biscuts with dinner!! Check back with you guys later princess: princess: !!

Linda: I live in Orange County NY. It cold again this morning. We actually have the heat on in the morning to get the chill out of the house!!
I love to scrapbook. I have scrapbooked so many Disney trips. I just finished DS's baptism.

Good Morning All. Just popped in to say hello while I was getting ready for church :)
Hope today is a great day for everyone and that you feel the sun on your face and the wind at your back.

Good Morning, All!

You must live in the mountains, then, Lynn! We live in Schenectady County now - whe we lived across the river in Rensselaer county we always got frost WAY earlier than down here. Even at only 410 feet elevation, it was zone 4. What do you have for scrapbook stores down that way? (I'm afraid ours is going to go out of business in the near future - the now sole owner is NOT a business woman)

I have piles started - a pile to ship to the world - a pile to ship to the ship - a pile to pack for the world - a pile to pack for the cruise and a pile to ship to Shirley for DH's gift basket. Still seeking ideas for a Man's gift basket - so far, I have paperback books, coronas, water cameras and nuts. Anything else?

Today, I'm going to the state museum and lunch with a gf. Not very exciting, but I like to try to keep in touch. Oh Cr*P! I have to leave in an hour! BYE

Lynn and Pat,
glad you enjoyed watching the ship. I missed it because we were watching the tape of our last cruise. :happytv:

I actually beat you up this morning, but didnt post, I was up at 3:50, didnt feel well, but i have no proof accept my yawns and blood shot eyes :rotfl:

Linda, I do a cross between scrap booking and a photo album of our cruises. I use the album with all our photos and papers from the cruise, but I decorate it up with scrap booking stuff to make it special. I have no idea what I am doing but it is fun, so I am happy with it. ;)

It is so nice to know I am not the OLDEST anymore!!!! :rotfl2:
But we wont mention it, I probably have more grey hairs or wrinkles or something, so we will keep all of this hush hush??

We need to pick up the amounts of posts today because we fell a little short yesterday for what we need to do each day to make the 4000 posts.
Lets see mor epicutre you guys, I'll bet there are some good ones out there!!!

I will check back later to see what's happening, have a great morning everyone, :goodvibes

kathy
