Howdy everyone,
Bill and Shell I have seen the volcano cakes before , they are really neat! I am sure your nephew loved it. I hope someone took a picture of it.

Still HOT and dry here.
I am going to spend my day covering wallplate and switchplates covers with the leftover wallpaper borders from each room that we used them in. it really gives a nice finished look to each room and is a lot cheaper than buying designer plates. At least this way it matches the exact design too. I won't finish today, but I will get a good start on it.

Well I hope everyone has a great day.

Kathy

Mornin everyone....Lets all say a collective "Please Please, let the week go quickly!".
Kathy...sounds like a nice productive start to the week and you're way ahead of me. I have about a million lil projects like that to complete(just ask Woo). I'm still looking into the first 5 on the list---maybe next week?--dont beat me or poison my dinner dear :stir: , I'll get to them eventually.

Anyways....happy start to the week!
Bill

Okay, this is a picture from the dealer's web site, but this is a shot of Lisa's new toy (I only got to drive it today because the dealer is going to finalize some things this afternoon).

Hey Mutt: If you behave yourself on the cruise, I might let you inside the 5 foot perimeter when we leave the ship. This will most likely be our mode of transportation to the cruise. It just depends on how well Lisa minimizes the suitcases to be carried.

Kathy: This is a dual toy. I have wanted a Mustang Conv. since I have been able to drive. This is the 3rd Mustang I have owned, but the first convertible of any type. She knows that I possess the second set of keys! ;)

Bob

Hmmm ... Mustang Convertible? Sounds to me like someone's having a mid-life crisis!!!! :rotfl2:

Geez, and I thought buying a car would finally get you off my back about it! :teeth:

I actually made the statement that this was my mid-life crisis vehicle. But, I also said that if this is the worst thing I do in my mid-life crisis, then we are doing okay! ;)

Oooops...this is from TiggerKing. DW is still logged in on the home computer!

Bob

Now Bob ... if I didn't have anything to pick on you about, well what fun would that be? I mean, afterall, aren't you the one that made the "swelled head" comment about me to my husband??!!! :lmao:

(btw ... I'm laughing everytime you write under Lisa's name. HA!) :rotfl2:

:goodvibes Happy Monday everyone.....I can now say that since Monday is just about over. Hope everyones week goes well.

Take care

Denise

Happy Tuesday everyone,

Yesterday we changed our 9/23/06 cruise to 8/5/06.
Our daughter and her family are coming to visit for the month of August. :cool1: We talked it over with our daughter and decided to surprise the grandkids with a cruise. :goodvibes
They think we are taking them next summer on a cruise , so they wont be thinking about a cruise at all. We are going to tell them that we are going to take them to Cocoa Beach for a few days. That will explain leaving with our luggage and heading that direction. :teeth: Then we told them a BIG FIB!!! Unusual for grandma to do, so they wont suspect anything. I told them that DCL has been building a third ship that is totally different from the first two, and we got a special invitation to go to the terminal on 8/5/06 at 11:00 a.m. for a special presentation about it and to see a large model of it. Hopefully that will fool them until we pull up and unload the luggage. :cloud9:

They have cruised DCL before, but they knew about it a year in advance, Hopefully this wil be a great surprise for them

Well thats about all from Florida for now, hope eveyone is having a great day and NOT working too hard. :woohoo:

Kathy

Kathy, that sounds like a cool plan! I know they will have a blast!

Well, I learned the dangers of buying a convertible as part of a mid-life crisis yesterday. The hair is a little thinner these days and the top of my head is now slightly sunburned. My hat wouldn't stay in place while I was driving, so I had a little too much exposure!

Oh well, that problem has been cured anyway. Lisa is now in possession of the car and I may never see it again!

Shell: :snooty:

Good Tuesday morning, everyone!
Hope all is going well on your end of the world.

Bob? I think you meant to hit the  smiley, didn't you?! :p

Heck No! I couldn't find one with its tongue sticking out! ;)

Why can't our cruise start tomorrow? I need a break!

Kathy
Only 2 more months till you cruise again!!
:woohoo:
I am very jealous!!
:hourglass The rest of us have just under 6 months to go!

Hey Bob...I'm also "folically challenged". (yes, my drug choice for the new millenium is rogaine). I got a Solara with a sunroof and found the solution for me at least. I just keep a bottle of sunscreen handy and just massage a lil on my head when I'm gonna have the sunroof open. Works like a charm. Take back that toy, my friend...

I'm in favor of starting this cruise now too....if anyones interested. Lets gooooo!!

See, that is part of the problem. I still have hair up there, it is just about 30% thinner. So, I can't just go using sunscreen, or it will look like I have been using Vaseline and my hair will be pressed to my head. I actually saw something on TV the other day that was a hairspray-type sunscreen to protect your hair and your scalp. Now, I just need to find it in the stores!

:thumbsup2 Kathy: How fun to surprise the grandkids....can I be an adopted grandkid?.....I am really jealous. Have a great trip.

Well tuesday is just about over and we are just about another day closer to the cruise....  however, I'm game to start the cruise now!!!

Denise

I'm right there with ya, Denise! Let's go now and see if they'll let us on the ship ... just for the heck of it, cause we're nice people!

Aw, crap! That was me, not Mutt, talking to you Denise! :rolleyes2 (Bob will enjoy the fact that I DID IT AGAIN after making fun of him ...)

... step 2: log out ...
