Hello everyone...happy Wednesday.

Well reading everyones posts, I am getting jealous. We are not planning on stopping at Disney at all this trip. Which at the begining of the cruise planning was fine with me. But reading all your reports, now I want to go.. :rolleyes2 Oh well, I guess I'll just suffer with the cruise.....

Denise
We can't go to WDW either this time. We went for a few days after the cruise last year, and even though it was a weekend, it wasn't that bad crowd-wise. I really wish that we could go :sad2:

:thumbsup2 Well its 7pm central time Thursday evening and one more work day until the official weekend starts....

Everyone have a great Friday....

Denise

Hello everyone hope you are having a great short week. I apologize for my DH and his weird sense of humor. I can't believe the stuff he puts on this board. Anyway looking forward to the cruise and meeting you all. I know it is going to be a crazy cruise. That's why I'm looking forward to it.
Have a great weekend. :cool1:

Happy Friday everyone!!
DH and I added another night to our trip! we are going to fly in the day before Thanksgiving now... :cool1: We added another night to our POFQ reservation!
DH's parents got him a pirate hat for his pirate costume. My friend that is making his new jacket has started cutting out the pattern.... It will be pirate night before we know it!! pirate:

Hi Athene,
That is GREAT you got to add an extra day!!!
I still need ideas for my DH for pirate outfit. I have had mine for 3 cruises already. He usually wears a pirate t-shirt and bandana, but I would like more for him, if he will wear it. I want to check out the new Mickey ears pirate hat at WDW. I saw a picture of it and it looked really cute.
Hopefully within the next couple of weeks we will zip over to WDW so I can get one if they are cute.
Have a great Friday everyone!!! :rotfl:

Love the :dance3: :artist: :happytv: new smilies!!!

Hey Lisa... If you think your husband has a corner on the "weird" market....uh....you need to look a lil closer at these boards.
I think we all have our own unique specialties.

Btw...all this pirate talk....
To quote one of the great minds of our generation:
"I don't wanna be a pirate!"--Jerry Seinfeld
The weekends here, kids....enjoy it.

Almost forgot...its been less than two weeks since Woo and I planted the garden and we have peppers on the plants ALREADY! Care packages are being discussed and organized for the garden deficient!
Enjoy....

YEAH! Only 7 more hours till the weekend officially starts!!! WOOHOO!!!

TGIF!

I think Lisa and I may have to go for a ride tomorrow on the motorcycle. :moped: I have to go buy a new battery tonight, but hopefully that will be it. It is going to be a NICE weekend here according to the weatherman, but what do they know!

Take it easy folks, and don't work too hard today!

Bob

Wow, quiet board today!
Hey Kathy: Did you see these? :laundy: :beach: :charac2:

yes I saw them.
But the laundry one was too depressing, since I did washing and ironing today!
Although eating popcorn at the beach while listening to music sounds pretty good. Especially if it's at Castway Cay. :cloud9:
Just a few more weeks to go!!! :woohoo:

Kathy

:moped: Hey Bob, what kind of bike do you ride? My DH just bought a new Harley last summer, an ultra classic....so we can take weekend side trips.
Although we have yet to go on one  .

Have a great weekend everyone...

I dont remember her, I asked my wife she dosent remember either. We graduated some 11 years ago so maybe we were there before her. I was never good with spanish. I did one year because it was required. We went to visit some friends for easter and went back to the campus. We were amazed how much the school has grown since we went there.

You would have been there when she was teaching. Very nice teacher who became a friend.

I've never been to the campus although I know York pretty well.

OHMYGOSH. THE PUFFY SHIRT! I haven't thought about that in a long time. Way Too Funny!

Be forewarned, Jamie ... there are certain TV shows and movies that the Mutt and I live by and quote on a daily basis. Seinfeld is one ... MASH ("Frank Burns eats worms") ... The West Wing ("We had a deal!") ... My Cousin Vinny ("What are yutes?") ... and The Godfather ("Leave the gun, take the cannoli") to name a few! :happytv:

Happy weekend, everyone! Wish us luck ... we made an erupting volcano cake for my nephew's 9th b-day party today. Let's hope it works!!! :jumping2:

Howdy everyone,
we just got back from MGM studios. It was Star Wars weekend. So we saw lots of neat costumes around the park. :goodvibes I also got to meet Kaye, who is a lady who is going on her first DCL cruise tomarrow. I met her on the boards and have been answering questions from her for a few months now. It was such fun to finally meet her today. :rotfl2: This was their first trip to WDW and first cruise. They are on :cloud9:

It wont be long we will be going too!! :thumbsup2 cant wait!!!

have a great weekend everyone,
kathy

Ok I have to know how this turned out? Did it work and if so How do you make an erupting cake?

 Happy Sunday everyone...so what is everyone doing today? I think I may just do some house cleaning. They I'm trying to talk DH into going for a ride on the bike :moped:

Yes, I'm interested in knowing how the cake turned out also. I have never heard of an erupting cake either.

Denise

Hi folks....Happy sunday to everyone....
The cake turned out great. The "erupting" part actually sounds more dramatic than it is. The cake is basically a couple of chocolate bundt cakes on top of each other and sculpted to look like a volcano (you can frost it any way you want to....we used peanut butterfrosting, chocolate and some buttercreme colored with burgundy to decorate the sides along with crumbled up chocolate graham crackers to give the appearance of "rubble". A cup gets placed in the center with dry ice to make the smouldering effect. When evaporated milk hits the dry ice...it bubbles and the "lava" spills over the sides. We weren't sure how messy it was going to be so we just put hot water into the dry ice to make the smoke come out but the kids really enjoyed it anyways. Cudos to Woo :thumbsup2 for coming up with the idea---she's the genius behind the whole thing.
Anyways.... enjoy the last few hours of the weekend!
Bill

Hey Everybody!

I hope that everyone had a great weekend!

Mutt: Don't give your DW compliments, it will swell her head!

Well, DW and I have been a little bit busy this weekend. We finally bought a new (new to us) car yesterday. I finally was able to get the car I have been wanting ever since I received my license...a Mustang Convertible. We purchased a 2005 Torchfire Red Mustang on Saturday, and then proceeded to spend the afternoon and early evening riding around! It is great and we both love it! :thumbsup2

Have a great week everyone. It is going to be EXTREMELY busy for me as I try to finish up a project with one client. Looks like a lot of 10-12 hour days this week.

Bob
