Just a quick good morning all. I really enjoyed the extra hour of sleep last night after a long day at the football game. But, Ga. Tech defeated Miami, so that is all that counts!

Laurie and family!!! Here's a little advise just between you and me ... don't believe anything that TiggerKing says. His judgement is clouded by grits and red-eye gravy .

I was SO excited to wake up this morning and see that Dream Boat Wally posted !! Hi Wally!!

On tap today ... house cleaning, cruise organizational stuff (hey Wendy ... I'm updating my spreadsheet with a bunch of new stuff! Are you jealous? ), pick up my gown from the cleaners, and pack for my southwest trip. Hey, at least it will be 85 in Phoenix tomorrow!

Morning all fellow nanna heads: Boy that extra hour of sleep was fantastic....I feel great, but now I ache everywhere...(ya know, old age)

Welcome Laurie and family: Glad to have you with us.....the more the marrier
I am traveling with a semi-large party. 9 in all...my DH & myself, my sister and her hubby, their eldest daughter and her DH and their 3 kids ages 14,10 and 5. So I think that your kids are going to have a lot of new friends. This is our DH & mine first cruise also and am looking soooo forward to this. I think we are going to have a blast, traveling with all these wonderful DIS-board people is going to make it that more MAGICal.... We are a little but very harmless.

Well I decided to pull out my bread machine, havent used it in a few years and make some bread, so I have that in the process now. Then my DS and I are going to trim some bushes out front and then I think I will start to iron some clothes for the trip. Now that I finally have gotten Wally motivated, I can start getting some things done regarding packing and organizing.

So Shell: I told you, he would probably surprise me...I happended to wake up early this morning and there he is on the computer asking me how to get into the boards... So I showed him that went back to bed....I do however have on correction on something he said...I am his better half......he's just along for the ride.

Kathy: you really need to tell that Florida weather to stay warm in the AM's until we get back from the cruise. If I want 40 degree weather, I would stay home!!! NOT!!!!! just kidding.....

Hey Kathy - how's the cool air feel? And yes, we had some storms blow through too. I'm sorry you couldn't find any parking at Mt. Dora. You missed a great craft fair. They do pull in a large crowd. I should have gone with you to show you where to park. We have to walk a wee bit, but it's not too bad. Maybe next year.

Went to Orlando yesterday and got dh a coat for formal night. Now we are going to look for pants. This is getting to be a big chore for us. The great news is - I found my regional gift. Thank goodness. Now I have to concentrate on my clothes.

Jeff - how is Emily? I hope she's doing much better. Stephen had pneumonia when he was 6 and ended up in the hospital for 5 days! It was awful. I never thought a child's temp could reach 106! It happend so fast too. He also had (has) asthma. Emily is in our thoughts.

Shell - our dog Quincy was 16 and had all the same problems your Guido has. You become so attached to animals that no matter what the cost, you'll get whatever they need done.

Howdy nanas!!!

Laurie & family! Glad to have you join us! I'm Cheri -- part of the PGfour -- but now we're down to three -- DH, DD5 & me. DSS is unable to come with us because of sports/school commitments.

We just got back from our little overnight trip to Milwaukee. We did some shopping (bought DD some sandals for the cruise ), went to see a movie at the IMAX theater, and went for lunch at a place called The Safe House. It's got a spy theme. The entrance is in an alley and the sign says it's an import/export place. You step into a hallway then into a small room. You pull a secret lever and the wall with bookcase & fireplace opens. (The kids thought Bill was nuts to be going into this place!) You then proceed up some stairs and find your way into the restaurant. The whole place is full of little secret passages, pay phones with sound effects, etc. I think Jessalyn was a little freaked out at first, but wanted to go back again this morning.

It's such an easy drive; 70 minutes door-to-door -- and NO toll booths! We should probably get up there more often.

Shell, glad to hear Guido is doing well! 31 DCL drinks, though. . . I know what you mean about those vet bills. I take our two cats in separately just so I can spread out the expenses of their vaccines, flea shots, etc.

Our weather is a bit better today. Yesterday it was VERY windy! Only four more weeks. . .

Better get some housework taken care of. Later we're heading over to DH's sister's for treat-or-treating. DD will be dressed as: (you guessed it!) a princess.

Thanks to all for the kind thoughts. She is doing much better today. She had pneumonia about 2 weeks ago and now they think that maybe asthmsa is lurking but she does well with the nebulizer. WE are now goign to look for a travel version which a friend has.

Off to (yet another) 8 year old's birthday party today with DD8...

My true sports love started yesterday with fanfest - Pitt basketball. The team is ranked top five pre-season and so we are all anticipating a fun year.

well we just got back from watching the weirdest, strangest movie I have seen in years!!!!
My DS said he thought it was good so we went today to see The Prestige.
It is a very strange movie with an odd ending???That's all I can say about it.

Good Afternoon All ,
Quiet day here. Did not go out because it is cold and the sooooo windy. I was cleaning out stuff and throwing stuff out since when we get back from the cruise we are putting our house up for sale. Well I am going to pack my carry-on bag and make a list for what I need for the cruise from Wal-Mart.

Tonya: Do you want me to send you a check for the shirts?? PM with your address and I will put it in the mail.

Linda: Have fun Shopping- My favorite thing to do !

JD99: Glad DD is feeling better!!

Cheri: Have fun Trick-or-Treating!! What Princess is DD???

Pat: I give up it is too much for me with DS. When he gets alittle bigger I will think about it !!!

Afternoon all....well I got some things done and ready for the cruise. I ironed some outfits and am washing others. Got a few things packed in one of the luggages...at least I feel more organized.

Actually today is a beautiful day here. Sun is out and its probably in the mid 50's. DS and I went out and trimmed some of our front bushes. They were really getting wild looking, but much better now. After this I'm going and starting to make my stuffing. Yummy.

My sister Marge is doing better, she is still in the hospital but they are getting her medication leveled out and hopefully she should be discharged in the next day or so.

............GO CHICAGO BEARS!!!!!!............

Wendy: Wally would like to know what songs are being sung? He is requesting something by Elvis or Tony Orlando and Dawn dont ask.....he's stuck in the 70's... Plus he cant sing worth a darn....so all I can say to you lovely ladies........BEWARE!!!!

Lynn, I don't believe that they will allow wrapped gifts through security at the airport. If you wrapped your regional gift, they'll probably make you rip it open for inspection. I think I'm going to take wrapping paper with me and wrap ours once we get to FLA.

Denise, I was hoping that Wally would belt out some Abba for us!

Wendy, I e-mailed you my spreadsheet. You're going to be soooooooo jealous!

I have another suggestion that you may want to put on your to-do list. Make out address labels or business cards so that we can hand them out to keep in touch after the cruise.

OK, going to look at a house. Don't know why ... just aching to move, I guess! Want to make sure all our banana friends have a nice place to stay when they visit Ohio (hint: come in the summer. Trust me )

Hi Kathy! It is only dh and the kids and I at the Radisson before the cruise...mom and everyone are coming in Saturday. We hope to be out by the pool on Friday. I don't know how warm it will be...that time of year is always so unpredictable, but I am sure the kids will swim no matter what.
I would love to be part of the cruise meets. I made a note of times and locations and will surely tell everyone in our group!

Hi Lynn! I here you about the time change. I was just happy to have my hour back that was stolen from me in the Spring!

I have a 2.5 year old that will feel left out, but hopefully between Flounders and quality mom and dad time...she'll be fine. My sister has a 2 year old too...and our rooms are adjoining...so only one of us has to be in the room for naptime.

Hi Pat! unfortunately...my aunt and her hubby live in Florida. They went on this cruise last year...in the same room my sister is in...and for her second cruise they upgraded. They also have four adults and two kids in that room though! I am happy just to be related to them!
