Good morning :coffee: and Welcome DenverVal :wave2: You have been officially added to....."THE LIST."

There are many girls on this sailing close to your daughters in age. Cody's Mom has a 14 DD, DixieLady has greatnieces 14 and 11, Michelle2 has DDs 12 and 10, Grlzmom has DDs 12 and 10, Cindalu has a 10 year old DD and Melanie C has a 14 yr. old DD. Certainly many new pals to get to know.

O.K. all the cat is scratching it's way out of the bag......we are having some changes here at work and it looks like my "partner" has a Hawiian trip booked the week before x-mas and there is NO WAY we can both be off the same time......looks like the Lampy family will be joining you all on this sailing........CAN YOU HANDLE IT? :woohoo:

LET me be the first to welcome you.

Speaking as a person who has sailed with Lampy before, all I can say is everyone needs to get ready to have a great time.

Uh oh! Although I have never sailed with the Lampy's personally, I have heard (read) some stories about the patriarch of that family. DW and I may have to consider changing our sail dates.

Just kidding. Welcome aboard Lampy family. I look forward to the pleasure of meeting you! :thumbsup2

Thanks Tiggerking.........yep, looks like myself, DW Kim, Jessica 16 and Alli 14 and usually at least 1 friend, but we don't book them 'till we get closer to sailing, you know girls.....friends today and enemies tomorrow.....LOL

  Hello everyone....just reading the new post..I am so looking forward to meeting you. This is going to be such a blast. Just wanted to check in say say hello.

Howdy to Lampskies,

I have read many of your posts for quite sometime and we are looking forward to meeting all of you in september.
I think we are going to have a really great group of fun loving people on this cruise!!!!

Howdy to everyone else too!!

I am starting to draft out my door signs now, anyone else working on them too?

Have a great weekend everyone,
mom x4,grandma x4
Kathy

I am formulating ideas for door signs in my head, but I haven't put any designs to disk yet. I guess I better be very creative since I am going to be right beside mom x4,grandma x4 and she is already starting hers.

I hope everyone is doing well. It is rainy and miserable here in Atlanta right now. But, according to the weatherman, "The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar....". Okay, I promise to stop singing. It is driving my cubemates crazy!

Welcome to Lampy and Val!!!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

It is cold here in Toronto so I am looking forward to some tropical sun! As for door signs etc - I will be lucky if I end up with one and if so it will be a last minute affair. Things are really busy at work and it looks like I will be moving to a new position, however have not told my current boss yet - gulp.

Anyway - looking forward to Friday and the weekend!

:welcome: VAL. I to would love to make the conversion across to the MED, but.....

Anywho, welcome aboard.

Only 273 days until I'm on Vacation. :boat:

Welcome Lampy & Val. It seems like we are going to have a huge group on the ship this year!

I'm glad there will be several 14 year old girls on board the ship. I really want her to have a good time! They are at that age where they can easily get BORED if they don't have kids their own age to hang out with. My DS9 I'm not worried about.

In fact DD turns 14 on 3/5 and her party is tomorrow night. Wish me luck tomorrow night. Her friends made the invitations and brought them to school and didn't bother telling me until they were made that they invited 33 kids. It's her first boy/girl party and its in my house. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this party lol! DH and my DS are going to the movies so it will just be me. Hopefully I can handle it!

I got invisalign braces on today so I'll officially be wearing them on the cruise. It really made me think that I'll really have to plan my meals while onboard. No just popping food in my mouth without thinking about it first. The great thing is you really can't see them except when your really close.

Michelle- have a great time in China and Japan. Definately post pictures!!

Malanie, one DD turns 16 on 3/8 and Alli turns 14 on 5/30 it's our 6th sailing on DCL and they DEFINATLY know their way around....

On our 05 Thanksgiving Western we had 131 disers all liked together...

Welcome Val and Lampy.

Lampy - I have seen your posts for years on the Boards.

It's always so much fun to put faces with names.

It's just me and DH who will be cruising. We're old compared to all of you youngsters but very young at heart. By the time we cruise, we'll have 6 grandchildren - all under the age of 4. Oh, can I bore all of you with pics!!!

Have a great weekend everyone. 9 months from tomorrow.

Ahh...bull-puckey! The older I get the more I realize that old is just a state of mind. Sometimes I feel 104, sometimes I feel 4! Just ask my DW. Actually, she thinks I act 4 regardless of how I feel, but that is another story for another day!

Jan,
At least your grandkids are young, our oldest grandaughter is 14 1/2!!!
We have 4 of them down to age 4. We always tease Ana and tell her that we dont introduce her as our grandaughter because she gives away our age. Ha! Ha! As if looking at us wouldnt give it away anyway. We only claim the 4 and 6 year olds. :rotfl:

But as my huband will tell you I am a bigger kid now than when I was young!

my house is filled with disney stuffed characters who I dress up for each holiday that comes along. They have taken over the dining room table for Luau's, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. They use DCL glasses too!! :thumbsup2
In our bedroom I have toy story characters on my cedar chest with a sign that says "Welcome to kathy's room".
I own most of Disneys' animated movies and lots of other animated shows, i just love to laugh at them. :rotfl2:
I have big figurines Disney characters around my living room and my kitchen counters are covered with Disney cookie jars and canister sets. 2/3rds of my clothes have Disney characters on them. My car has a disney license plate and a disney steering wheel cover too.

Guess i really am just a big kid, and the older I get the easier it is to get away with doing all these silly things. I love it.

Your olny a sold as you let yourself be!! I have a feeling your very young at heart and I am anxious to meet you in a few months. Maybe we can compare our aches and pains! ha! Ha!
Hope everyone has a great weekend,
mom x4,grandma x4
Kathy

OK - I want to know - can we be the Turkey Day Cruisers for 2006?? Or is that the cruise before us? I am Canadian so you have to excuse me LOL.
