I'm with you ladies and vote for Queen. So after the men bow and worship us aren't they supposed to stay busy by peeling grapes and what not? I'd say they should fetch us beverages but thats a much better job for Pablo the pool boy :rotfl2:

Good Morning All     ,
Well it is a cold frosty morning here in NY. I don't live near the New York City either. I live about a 1/2 hour from the Catskills. Everybody refers to where I live as the Hudson Valley!! Well today we are off to the Doctor's with DS. He is having trouble drinking his bottle because he is sooo stuffy and congested. He also has a slight temperature again!! So I will call at 8am when they open to get an appointment!! Well last night DH did some more packing for himself. Oh, we had DS on the floor while DH was traveling and Ds started to crawl :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: !!! Well let you all know what happens at the Dr's with DS. Have a good day and Talk to you later!! princess: princess:

Kathy: Glad you had fun at Animal Kingdom!!

You live in Trixie Belen country!
One summer my best friend and I drove out to Catskill to visit her family and found out that we both grew up reading those books. :thumbsup2
(I still have mine!)

This weekend was good... Excpet that we went to my brothers on Sunday night for his birthday dinner, and my mom brought along her crazy sister who made the entire evening very tense and uncomfortable. Poor DH got the brunt of it.... Apparently President Bush and Hitler are working together to spread war all over the globe.... (of course when DH pointed out that Hitler was dead, she changed the subject!)

Saturday we bought DH a new suit for the cruise. I think he looks pretty sharp in it, so we aren't going to do the Tux thing this cruise.

Good morning everyone,

Denise, I may be wrong but it was my understanding that Tonya would be mailing us our shirts and then we would know how much money to give her.

That way we could wear them to the port so we can find each other in the terminal before boarding the ship. Just look for the green. :thumbsup2

I am going to be there when it opens and I will be grabbing anyone in those shirts when they arrive. I think Wendy was going to be there early too, so we both will be looking for that sea of green to arrive!!! :woohoo:

Lynn,
Hope DS gets something to clear him up. My kids went through that too. It is scary when they get so clogged they cant breath good enough to eat properly. I'm sure the doctor will be able to give him something to help. ;) Please keep us posted!!

Ok, ladies it is hard for me to admit, I'd better hope DH doesnt read this or he will deney it, but I am treated like a queen everyday!! :goodvibes
I am as spoiled as Minnie is. That didnt come out the way I meant for it to, but you get the idea.

He never complains if I buy something, instead he says I dont spend enough on myself. If I dont want to cook, he is just as happy with a tuna fish sandwhich, he does the hard housework, such as scrubbing all the floors and showers. If I do something that is hard physically, he gets upset and tells me to leave that stuff for him. If I ask to go somewhere special, he always makes it happen with NO complaints.

One Valentines day he bought me a car and didnt tell me. We had been looking at them and I mentioned I liked a Chrysler, but we wernt ready to buy, just browsing. He went back and bought it for me. I looked outside and there is was, just sitting in the driveway.

Twice he has surprised me with 3 day DCL cruises. One was 2 days notice and the other I had 4 days notice.
And here is the 2 biggest things, HE picks up after himself and ALWAYS puts the seat down!!!!!

On the other hand i dont just blow money on anything that comes along, I rarely ask for anything special and I always appreciate what he does for me and I let him know that!!!

So even before DD bought me a tiara, I always considered myself a queen!!

Now to keep DH from reading this and getting a BIG head from it!!!

We are finally getting a cold front tonight. Suppose to only get around 68 to 70 the next two days, lows in the 50's. That sounds really great to me!! Thursday and Friday will be highs in the 80s again. But the 2 cooler days will be great.

well time to get ready to do the usual errands, banking, groceries, pharmacy etc...

I will check back later to see what is happening.

Kathy

Good Morning. Today is my big day. First day at my new job. Well, at my new "baby-sitting" job. That's how I look at it. I'm really looking forward to going. The bad thing is, I don't go in until 2:00. I hope I can get use to that.

Sarah - I'm sorry, I can't help you out with your shopping request. I've never been over to that side of our world. Well, maybe once, about 35 years ago!

Kathy - don't you love this weather! Glad you had a good time yesterday. And I must confess. I am also treated like a queen around our house. I don't get cars, but I do get my fair share of help around the house. I married very well. Not wealthy, well. ;)

Lynn - Hope the baby is feeling better soon. I feel so bad when the little guys get sick. You feel so helpless.

Well, will check in later. Hope you all have a great day and it's filled with a bunch of :goodvibes
Pat

Yes Pat,
I love the weather today and probably all week!!! :sunny:

Have fun with your new job and let us know how it goes.
How was the craft fair? :confused3

Did you buy anything?

Kathy

Good Morning, All!

Good luck with your new job today, Pat!

Kathy, I'm with you - I wouldn't want my husband to read what I write about him, either. He's a grumpy dumpling, but he vaccuums and dusts. He brought home two potted Easter Lilies from the supermarket (buy one get one free) for our 25th anniversary - but then he bought me new tires. He tells me I'm pretty, even though I know I'm - er pooh sized. I think I'll keep him!

Lynn, Keep us posted how baby is - and take good care of yourself, so YOU don't catch it!

Bob...honestly...whats "cold" for you folks....where does the temp become uncomfortable for you? I never lived anywhere that didn't have a cold season so I'm curious.
Well, the problem is that are you asking what is cold for the south, or what is cold for Bob? There are two different answers. Most people down here consider anything below 60 degrees to be on the edge of cold. We regularly see the 30s during winter, and some nights in the 20s. Now, in 1983, we saw below zero temps in Atlanta for a week, the lowest of which was 5 below.

As for Bob, I don't put on a jacket until it reaches the 40s unless I am going to be outside for an extended time. Then, I might put on a sweat jacket. When I was in Detroit in January through March last year, typically wore a dress shirt and t-shirt to work, but rarely wore my jacket. Always had it in the car, just didn't put it on. DW will tell you that I can look at a picture of the sun and get hot, so it takes a lot to make me cold. :lmao:

Good Evening All Nana Heads!!!

Jeff -- sorry about Pitt's loss to Rutgers. But I was rooting for Rutgers as my son, Jeff, got his masters there (freebie - he was a teaching assistant in the physics department).

Jan

Geez Jan. I'm starting to take this personally. You are out there cheering against my panthers every week!

Jamie - our matching stuff has a light blue background - I'll try and get a picture of it but I don't think it is the same as yours. We were going to wear it on a 'casual' night. I can't remember if they have Tropicalagisticexpialadoshus any more - I think it got replaced by Pirate night? Anyway probably either the Monday or Wednesday night - or maybe both!

Bumping UP we were getting WAY too low.

Still thinking about tieras. DH thinks im Nuts. I am but I won't let him know it.

I used to be the same way, Bob.... I walked around in shorts and a t-shirt in the dead of winter. Over the past couple of years, my tolerance for cold has dropped dramatically. I just don't wanna get old. Actually, I just don't wanna get old in NE Ohio.... a nice beach villa in St. Thomas perhaps? Hon? Please? I'll let you wear the tiara.....

Have a good day everyone.

Good day Banana Heads

It is so COLD here!

I just ran to the restaurant across the street and got my first taste of S---, too ... UGH! I'm not ready for this!!! (btw, that was SNOW, not any other 4-letter S word, but I guess they can easily be cross-referenced).

Queen, princess ... does it really matter as long as the men know to worship us? :rotfl2: I can't say a bunch of mushy stuff about my dh because he reads this board! Can't give him too much ammo! :lmao: But he knows he's the best regardless!

Sarah, did you see my post about swimoutlet.com for water shoes?

Pat, did you yell for my mom and dad Saturday while in Mt. Dora?! I called Mom that morning and told her to listen for you :lmao:

Hunny-Mutt? Am checking out real estate on St. Thomas during lunch. Will let you know what I come up with!!! :thumbsup2

Hey Shell - I did see that. I have to check it out and see if they ship to Canada - and what the price to ship is.....often it is really high (the Disney Store is really expensive or I would order a TON of stuff).

It is this time of year that makes most southerners know why they continue to live in the south and tolerate the hot summers. For a couple of months of unbearable heat, we end up a lot of months of lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s!

We are SO close to that 4,000 post mark that we might have to raise the budget in the next few days...

Ah yes, I forgot about that. I'd help if I could! Maybe you can order it and have it shipped and held at your hotel in Cocoa Beach.

Checked - they only deliver to continental USA. Oh well, not a biggie if we don't get this stuff. If not at Target I am sure we can get them at Ron Jons - just more $$. I'd rather have them in hand than trust someone to hold them for me. And I just checked on DisneyShopping and for a $12 shirt it is $33 shipping (bummer). I don't need anything more after my last shopping extravaganza (thanks Kathy ;) ).

Hi everyone,
We are almost at our goal of 4,000 posts before we leave. Where do I start. My daughter is doing better but I am so so frustrated. The past weekend has been rough. Friday is cleaning day and I am supposed to clean the upstairs bathroom. Well by the time I got to it my mother in law was all ready in there. She doesn't give me a chance to do anything. It would have been done but I was making my DD's beds first. My father in law also doesn't want me to tell them when I do something. Well if I don't tell them then they are not going to know and then they will think that I did not do anything. I do not know what to do. I will be so happy when we go away for a week. I really need it. I have cried every day for the last three days and I do not want to say anything and have it blow up again like it did before.

Thanks for listening

Lucinda
