Don't forget Extreme HOme Makeover tonight - the family goes on DCL for their 'week away'.

Shell - sorry, no idea bout braiding hair (as youcan seein my pics I have very little hair :teeth: ).

I too vote for 2:45pm Saturday. I am really bad at remembering things (without my computer dinging at me LOL) so keeping it simple is great with me. I actually tried to get a few things together this weekend for the cruise. So far we have Pirate 1/2 done, tropiclfragilistic (do they even still have that??) anyway, one of the casual nights done (yes the dreaded matching Disney-wear) and formal night pretty much done. All ressies, tickets, trasnportation, excurrsions etc are booked. NOw I just have to concentrate on finishing up getting clothes together and I think we are set. Oh..and contacting Shirley for a basket for DS. I am sure I will think up a few more things pending, but so far things seem pretty OK. Oh year, and of course the last minute haircut, pedi (oh those Canadian winter tootsies need it LOL) and other assorted unmentionables given the male contingent on the board. :rotfl:

Kathy - glad you had a good time at MK (lucky duck!!!!!). I was just reading about some of the Million Dreams stuff in this months MouseSavers....really cool!

Hope you all have a good night and good start to the week....every day past is a day closer!                    (20)

Hey KAthy - who is Geoff?? I noticed you guys talking about another board with no PMs....can you share the scoop??

Cheri, I think that's the best we can hope for as far as the gift exchange - by Sunday, we'll be scattered to the 4 corners of the Magic.

I actually wish i was yellow colorblind - those damn bananas are making me NUTS.

finished 15 perpetual calendar books and 8 disney Autograph pages in 15 hours of the 18 hour crop yesterday. Then I was brain dead, and had to go home. It's amazing how much faster one can get places at 5 in the morning with no traffice and at 9 pm on a Saturday night. Usually takes me 35-40 minutes each way - came home in 20 minutes flat last night.

Nice long nap today, and i'm fixing to pack it in again.
Sleep Sweetly and dream of gently rocking waves!

Good evening Nanas!

Here are a few more for the fund:                     (20)

Rather unexciting day here -- just hung around and comparied other cruise lines with DCL. :bored:

Kathy, glad to hear you had a good day at MK!

Shell, if you run out of every other possible option on board, I can kinda French braid. My braid would be good on a day when you're going skydiving or parasailing! :rotfl:

Have a good night everyone!

Cheri

Shell, I.m with Cheri maybe between the 2 of us your hair could withstand some wind :lmao: I am always afraid I am pulling it too tight so I tend to do much better on my own, when its long enough.

Did ya'll see DWTS promo for tuesday, Sara talks.... I'm more like who cares bring back Willa her partner was hotter anyway.

Night

PS. Thanks for the tip Shell, I added it in today. Tell Bill I am starting a list for him :rotfl2:

  : Evening all: This has been a very quite day. I did get all my things together for packing and have them layed out in the spear bedroom on the bed. My little piles...swim wear, sleep wear, sea days, dinner ware...etc I think you get the picture  Thats just my stuff, DH has not even began to think about it. So we usually start him a week in advace and then end up running and doing clothes shopping for him. Even though I have been bugging him for months if he needed any new clothing  . I even have all my luggage pulled out, :thumbsup2 , but hey, I'm not excited about going!! :rolleyes1

Well my DS was supposed to be home all day and helping me complete my signs. He was up and out of the house before 9am and didnt get home until 8pm tonight. So I am watching the amazing race and he comes down, asking if I want to work on my signs.... :confused3 No, I was wanting to do them this afternoon. Oh well, I will pin him down this week and have him help me with them. :)

Well everyone have a great evening, talk with you all tomorrow.

Good Morning Moday to All,
Well last night Ds would much better!! DH and I went to bed at 9pm because we were so tired from the night before of getting up every hour. Today is a VERY cold day here. My truck has frost on it!! It Me and DS are staying home today and getting things done around the house. Went to New York and Company yesterday and got 2 dress shirts for the cruise. I might just have to go back at get the purple one because I Love purple. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Talk to you later!!

Okay Shell, the week we are together we are going to be very good friend because yes I know know to french braid hair!! I did my sisters' hair and they have long hair for their high school graduation and dance recitals. I just can't french braid my own hair! and my hair is too short! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Howdy everyone,

Lynn, purple is my favorite color too!!!

Sarah,
Geoff is a man and his family that are cruising with us on this cruise. they posted on CC and Bill and I both post there on a thread looking for more people to join us.
We want Geoff to come here to post so he could meet everyone, but on CC if you mention the name of any other cruise board they will remove your post immediatly!!! Then they post a stern letter warning you that you cant do that there.
So Bill has sent Geoff an e-mail address to try to get him to write to it so Bill can then tell him about all of us here on the dis boards.
Boy that sounds complicated.?? But if it works we may have a new family joining us here, which would be great.

well got lots of house work to do today. So I'd better get to it, I will check back later!!!

Good Morning, All!

Another chilly morning. 5 weeks til we leave for Florida, and I am SO ready.

I love purple too - and red and sapphire and emerald . . .

Happy Day!

Morning everyone... No word from Geoff yet.... I'm sure he'll contact me when he's ready (kinda scary having me be the emissary of the dancing nanas, isn't it? What kind of ideas will he get? :rolleyes1 ). Anyways...nothing new here....just trying to grind

Hey I have an idea for the gift exchange. Still have our get to gether at 245 on the first day, but only draw names and put our cabin number on the piece of paper. Then during the cruise, give your present to the customer service desk and ask them to either send a note to the room about a package being at customer service or have them deliver it for you. You would still have to fess up on the note on the present, but it would make for some interesting dinner conversations. Did you see what I got today? etc.

For the fund. , , , . who do we appreciate.

have a great day. Hey Kathy, should I order an extra shirt for Geoff? Maybe he can be an honorary member or something.

:thumbsup2

How about then delivering it ourselves to the cabin number we draw? We can hang it on the fish - I've always looked forward to Fish mail!

Is "Damn" really a firty Dord? :rolleyes1

I started gathering stuff to pack and then discovered we're having overnight guests the last weekend in October. OH the timing. Oh well. I'll stash it all in my bathtub while they're here.

Linda,
you think all those    are driving you nuts,
try counting all of them from the first post up to the present

I have spent my morning setting up interviews with dog sitters for Minnie.
I need to get soemething set up for sure, because time is flying by and we will be crusing before you know it!!!
I still need to finish my door signs too.

Hey Bill,
how are your signs coming. I havnt seen you post any pictures of them for weeks and weeks now. Did you make a final decision on them??

Hopefully Geoff will answer you soon. They are a big group and I would love to have them join us. Maybe I will drop a post there later today and encourage him to write to the address you gave him.

Kathy

Hello Banana Heads

Linda and Bob ... this is for you:
2203-1.gif

Cheri and Wendy, thanks for the "offer", but I think Lynn's got me covered in the french braid department :rotfl2:

Kathy, I'm actually getting to design of our door signs ... amazing, huh? Of course they're not the quality of Mutt's hand-drawn ones, but I think they're cool nonetheless!

Gotta make arrangements for a business trip to AZ and NM in a couple of weeks. That will hopefully make this time waiting for DCL to fly a little quicker. I sure hope so.

For you 80s afficiandos, guess what I heard on the radio while out to lunch today??? Twisted Sister "I Wanna Rock"
ronniejamesdionana.gif
(yeah, try to get that one out of your head :lmao: )

See ya ...

Good afternoon all!

Well, I am thoroughly entrenched in the throngs of South Georgia. I am in a little town called Nashville (yes, Ga. has one as well). There are a total of about 5 restaurants at which to dine for lunch (not including McDonald's and Subway). Look it up on Google Earth and you will see that there is NOT a lot around here! And to boot, my hotel is almost 40 miles away due to an agricultural exposition going on in a nearby town (one of the largest in the US).

Woo: You don't have to kill the bananas for me. I actually love to eat them, I just hate seeing 300 of the little buggers dancing before my eyes! ;)

Also, Woo, believe it or not, I don't remember that song. The only song I remember from Twisted Sister is "We're Not Gonna Take It"! :rockband:

Well, back to work now. Have a wonderful day all! Less than 6 weeks and counting!

HA! You think that's bad? Google Eagar, Arizona. That's part of my whirlwind southwest tour in a couple of weeks. 3-1/2 drive from Phoenix!
