I did both but really hard to say which I preferred, both were great for what they worked to accomplish.
Backstage was, well, almost all backstage, showing how they cared for the animals...food, health, overnight sleeping/resting quarters, research, etc. Wild, on the other hand, is all onstage, showing how the park was planned, created and really is, wild, by design. One tour is more animal oriented, the other more park oriented.

My husband and I went on the Wild By Design Tour in January and loved it. You learn so much and appreciate all of the thought and work that goes into Animal Kingdom. I am going back in 11 days!!!!!!!!!! with some friends and we are doing the tour again. We did get a special ride on the Safari and a Wild By Design pin. Pam
