Hi there .. now that xmas has come and gone ..

I know a few families with new WIIs in their homes ... (I don't own one , so no clue ..) but soon ... some of this kids have birthdays coming up >>>
yep... Jan/feb/mar. is very busy birthday season for me...

what do you think of the wheel as an extra accessory .. i have seen it in several places and noticed .. it must be one of the cheaper accessories and i know where they have stock on these..
is it worth the money ...(wonder why its so cheap...) would it be fun for them ... or do most people do without it ??
any other accessory worth mentioning for new WII owners ??
thanks ..

The extra wheel would be a great accessory if they have Mario Kart. I'm not sure it can be used with any other game yet.

We have a wheel attachment which we got with Mario Kart, and find it a great deal of fun. It's odd to get used to at first (ie it isn't attached to anything, so no auto-center or other tactile feedback other than rumble). The attachments are so cheap as in essence all they are, are a plastic shell in which you place the Wiimote in. If you were to get Mario Kart then you get the wheel attachment with it, as a bonus you can play it without if needs be, or even with an older Gamecube pad.

Not had any experience of other attachments, though want to buy a Snooker/Pool game (WSC 2009) which comes with an attachment to make the Wiimote like a cue :) Just can't find it in any shops at the moment.
