We already have the 360, skipping the PS3 but may consider the Wii if some "must have" games come out later on. My son did not even put the PS3 on his xmas list(to his grandma).
The reason I bought the 360 was because after reading the reports about the cost of the PS3 I knew there was NO WAY I would ever buy it. Too expensive.
I wasn't going to get anything, until I saw the Wii being played at Gamestop the other day. WOW, that is really cool.
I'm waiting until after the holidays though, don't like the rush and I don't have kids.
I haven't voted. We already have an Xbox so I think we'll move to the 360 eventually (and I even think that is too expensive!). DH isn't too much of a gamer. I'm considering the Wii for DS because of the availability of younger games and the price.
But I'm torn about getting a system at all. He might be better off with a GameBoy, DS, PSP or something like that.
None. I refuse to pay 500 bucks for a PS3. I like nintendo and xbox but I dont like the games as much as I used to. There are only a select few games that I enjoy so I can't see paying that much for a system.
I will just stick to Playing World of Warcraft on my PC
I barely play my Xbox as it is, so no reason to put down the money for a 360. The PS3 is way too expensive and most people (who are gamers) at my college refuse to buy one due to the price. Part of me is hoping that it will bite Sony in the booty...
Only thing I will miss for the PS is Final Fantasy and if Suikoden goes to the PS3...
Do I need a memory card to store my game saves on? The Wii has a built-in 512MB of flash memory that can hold many game saves, and you can also use a separate SD memory card if you wanted to or if you began to fill up the internal memory.
PS3. It has the most potential out of all the systems. It can have games like Wii Sports, and FPS like Gears of War. Plus it is backwards compatible with the older playstation models. Considering what you get with the PS3 it is very much worth the price. You get a blue ray disk player, which alone costs $1,000 plus a Wii like system. Once sony can get the backwards compatibiility bug fixed, the PS3 will be awesome.
