Wii In Florida

Yesturday I got my daughter an Nintendo Wii for her 13th.

Just wondering if we bought her some games for it in Florida do you think they would work here?

Sorry but games bought for the Wii in the US will not work on hardware purchased in the UK.

It dpends on the software house but most are region locked. (Trust me here, I've been caught by this one! )

You can get a special chip that get's 'round this but it means opening up your Wii and doing some soldering, I really wouldn't recommend it.
