Wii game question

Can someone tell me if the Wii game : Skylanders:Spyro Adventures game and Pirate game is worth the price for a 10 year old? I know it cost alot more than others and would buy it for him,if it's worth the price.Would a 10 year old like it?Any help would be great.

My DS8 loves Skylanders! I got it for him the day it came out. $70.00, including game, portal and 3 figures. (Now I see a lot of deals on it--TRU, Target--buy a 3 character pack, get a free figure, etc.) He's got 14 characters now. It's kind of expensive, once you start buying all the extras, but you can play for a long time with the original characters that come with the game. I think you can win the whole game with 4 characters.
It's kept his interest. He really likes it. If you decide to get it, I would keep my eye out for deals--I saw a few for Black Friday.

I am getting in on BF...i'm pretty sure i read somewhere [bfads maybe?] taht it would be $50.

Currently you can get it at sams online for $65 with a special character pack.

My DS10 has Skylanders and LOVES it. I found it at Costco for 62.99.
