I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

Got the wii fit, been using it everyday. I have unlocked all the exercises on it but I think I will eventually get bored with these. Are there any other exercises? If you do the wii online can you get more exercises? If I buy another game like the cheer, or the snowboarding will it still recognize that exercise and track my minutes and progess like the original exercises?

I loved my Wii Fit initially but I have to admit it got old very quickly. I bought Dance, Dance Revolution for the Wii and I absolutely love it. It will take me a lifetime to get through every song at every level. I find it to be a much better workout compared to the Wii Fit. My kids also love it. I think I may put the Wii Fit on Craigslist. To me, the appeal of that one only lasts so long.

I believe there are other games that use the Wii Fit board but as for keeping the routine interesting there are limits to as far as you can go with the game.

That being said, there are a lot of exercises that you can do in that game. The yoga and strength training alone are very good. You simply up the ante to keep your exercise routine productive otherwise you end up getting bored. The stronger you get the more you do.

Quick question for you guys- a bit off topic..We are looking into getting a wii and wii fit..
Do you just buy the wii fit and then there are extras to buy? do you have to buy them to use the wii fit

Buy the wii and it will come with a wii-mote. Then buy the wii-fit and you are set for one person. You will need to buy a nunchuk for some of the wii exercises (boxing definitely needs the nunchuk)
For other games, you will generally want to have 2 wii-motes and 2 nunchuks so you can play 2-player games.

To answer the original question, as of right now there are no other games / challenges for the Wii Fit other than what you can unlock in the game itself. No other game lets you keep track of Wii Fit time either.
Now, that doesn't mean in the future that Nintendo can't add Downloaded Content (DLC) to the Wii Fit, but as of right now, there is nothing being talked about along those lines.
It's more likely that Nintendo will eventually sell a Wii Fit 2 (board optional), but again, right now it's all just speculation.

Thank you, that's the answer I'm looking for. Hopefully they will come out with new exercises in the future. Thanks.
