Is it fun & worth the $70? I really want it, but would like a review first.

Either no one has bought this game yet, or else it's so much fun that they aren't on here b/c they are dancing the night away! I just can't decide whether or not to buy it.

Bought it last night and only had the chance to dance about 3 songs but it looks really good! So far not much of a song selection but I think there must be more to unlock. Was going to play today but not enough time but I'm gonna get into it this weekend!!! I think its worth the 70 bucks cause the game is great and you get 2 dance pads!! I already have 1 dance pad cause I play Hottest Party 1 and 2 on Wii, but I'm holding onto the other 2 I just got since the dance pads tend to wear out over time.

My only thing against it is I can tell I'm going to beat the game really quick, I'm used to DDR, I play it on Wii and PS2, and so far the dances on Disney grooves is seeming VERY easy, so for a lot of people that will be a good thing but I was just hoping it would be about the same level of difficulty as my other DDR games.

Okay so I totally take back what I said about the difficulty level there is still a lot of challenges in this game!!! Currently I'm stuck on "Can you feel the Love tonight!" By tomorrow I'll get it, but it is indeed challenging!!

This is starting to become my fave DDR game - mostly cause of the cute costumes you unlock for your character to wear - it was really fun to see my Mii dressed up in Cinderella's gown!!!

DEFINATELY WORTH THE MONEY!!! :yay:

Bump!!

I know I can't be the only DDR freak on the Dis, can I???

We don't have it, but I pointed it out to DW today in the Sunday ads, so we might get it at some point in the future. I'm hoping it's something the kids (5 and 2) would enjoy though - I don't want them getting so frustrated that it just sits there, unused.

I still haven't decided whether or not I should buy it. $70 is a lot of money if it's something that I'm not really going to use. Can you rent games like this? Will it come with the dance pad if I rent it? That's probably what I need to do before I just spend money on it.

that sounds cool... Me and Kari are horrible at DDR. She's got a better sense of rythem, probably because she can play an instrument... I've got nothing.

But if it's pretty easy for starters, it's definatly one I want to think about.

I really want to get this game too! At first i was shocked by the $70 tag but it has 2 pads so now it doesn't seem that bad lol. My husband wants the Metallica Guitar Hero and I want this...

We are expecting a check from our old mortgage company maybe we'll both get what we want lol

how do you get a silver star ranking for a song? on one level it tell me i need 2 silver star for 2 songs. it the third venue i think...?

It goes by the number of "perfect" steps, "great" steps, etc. and how high your combo is -- I don't know the exact number of each but basically just keep practicing and getting better will give you 2 silver stars!!

Then as you progress, if you get all the steps as "perfect" then you get 3 gold stars.

I was surprised they used stars instead of the letters they do in other DDR games, but whatever, it means the same!

I just got the game but haven't tried it out yet been to busy cleaning the garage. will hopefully try it out monday

Got the game today and played it for about an hour so far, a lot of fun but I am finding beginnger to easy. On the other DDR games all I could play was beginner so this si definately easier. My fav is Supercali-whatever lol and Ice ICe Mickey is fun too lol

According to the Konami website, there is a total of 40 Disney songs.

I got it for my girls, 8,3,1 for Easter. So far so good. They love it. :thumbsup2 they have already unlocked some songs and costumes.

Mostly the older two play but the little one *thinks* shes playing and that makes her happy. So it was well worth the money. I havent tried it yet. but it sure looks fun.

The 3yo takes it with her when she visits grandma cause she has a wii too.
